Q & A for the Event:more like and A & A. x—xI just thought I'd clarify some items that were mentioned in the forms. I loved and valued all of the feedback and will do my best to implement some of the ideas in future events! I can say the Halloween event will be much more low-key than this as I am back in school and don't have much time to devote to something like this. It will more than likely be just item purchases and maybe a raffle one can enter. If anyone has item ideas for Halloween, please post them on the

I didn't understand how you gave out points.
Points were awarded based on a number of different factors. I usually awarded one point to each item, but if I really liked a post or found one too hard to read I may have added or subtracted some points from your point total from the day. Things I looked at are:
1. Grammar and comprehension- Could I read and understand what you were saying?
2. Action of the Sled Pup- Was the Sled Pup actively doing something versus just walking around?
3. Tie-In to Area- Did what the Sled Pup was doing fit well with where you said they were located?
4. Length- Did you provide enough description to give me a good idea about what your Sled Pup was doing?
5. Interesting Idea/Humorousness- Did I feel the action of your Sled Pup was unique, funny, or inventive?
I'm thinking I will be posting these 5 rules to the main page for next time, so other users can do checks on their posts.
Maybe next time in stead of adding the new tickets to the first batch of tickets, make an a new entry with them?
I actually had thought about doing it that way, but because the number system is randomized and you have the same probability no matter which numbers you had I didn't see a need to do that. I will attempt this the next time though and see if users prefer it better.
Lack of item drops like the Ocean.
This was one of the things I felt got quite a bit of complaints last time I did an event. People weren't getting the items they wanted. I'd rather users get items they want by being able to choose them than randomly receiving things they don't like. That's why I made the horses as the only item drops. I probably won't do more than one item drop in the future for the stated reasons and how much time it took to go through the randomization process and item additions each day.
I personally didn't like the way the hotel guest were given away. I tried multiple times to acquire one, but someone always got the first. Maybe in the future they could be done raffle style?
Next time I'm thinking some premade raffle pups would be a good idea, however I wanted some people to feel rewarded for their work in their forms and FCFS is a nice change from raffle after raffle. I know more people wanted to get Sled Pups from the event, but I try to limit the amount created now due to how many are around, but not seemingly active.
I would have liked it to go on longer.
At this point, 10-11 days is quite a while, so longer events probably won't happen. Most users seemed to get burnt out after the first couple of days based on how the number of forms each day lowered, so it actually may have been too long. I just wanted to make sure there were enough days so that everyone could get the items they wanted through points.
For new raffles, maybe a retired item, or a sled pup with one special edit?
The Sled Pup with a special edit would just be considered a custom lined Sled Pup no matter the edits done.
Retired items are tricky for a couple of reasons that I have explained to some Sled Pup owners.
First, I had an issue with the image file, where some of the items were lost a while back. This included some items I redid as they were popular. Some though, can not be retrieved and are not very easy to recreate, so those would not be coming out of retirement.
Second, there are some that are specifically made for other players and I wouldn't want someone requesting those.
Third, my file for Sled Pups items has over 250 layers on it. I'm working on transferring them to multiple files, but as of now I usually merge the layers, so coloring can not be changed or I delete some items that were event specific.
