Okay, so I am going to have a pumpkin carving contest. There are three different categories you can enter to win...

1. drawing/pixeling

This means you draw in any format of your choosing, it can be hand drawn, it can be done in the oekaki or by pixeling, whatever you prefer, a carved pumpkin. If doing a hand drawing, please write your username on it somewhere, if pixeling, please include either your full username in the image somewhere, or initials of your username. Be as creative as you'd like, just so long as there is a pumpkin with a face carved into it in the drawing, it should be fine! If you want to do a drawing, but can't scan images into your computer, feel free to take a picture of it and post that instead.

2. writing

for this one you will need to write a story about a pumpkin carving experience. It does not need to be about a real experience you have had, it can be fictional, it just has to be about picking out and carving a pumpkin for Halloween. Must include details of how the carving looks!

3. real life picture

and finally, if you carved an awesome pumpkin yourself this year, you can take a picture of it and submit it in this category. You must prove it is your picture, so you will need to make a sign with your username on it and place it on the ground in front of the pumpkin when you take the picture. Just make sure not to include yourself or anybody else in the picture!

Okay, so here are the winners for the Pumpkin Carving Contest, thanks everyone for entering, for a bit there I didn't think I would have enough entries to award up to three places per category! I really enjoyed seeing your entries and please do not whine, complain or argue about the placings, I took a great bit of time to decide these, as some were quite difficult to choose between, but there can only be one first place winner, so I had to choose and I chose what I thought was the most creative for the drawing and real life pumpkins and the best flowing story for the writing.
