kinda? its a fish based plumie (roosterfish) and im trying to get those feather/eye changer things
for now though im rather proud of him

for fandom related plumies though the general rule is to not base completely on the character
you will see some around that are completely based (AKA the fox and the hound, ect)
often though they can't be to close or you have to deal with copyright issues which is important to keep in mind
its actually usually highly encouraged you don't copy everything, which shouldn't be forgotten on this thread honestly
what I would do, and have done, is keep an eye out for a design that works and do a personality/history that relates
honestly the plumies couldnt have powers anyway. I had to get special permission to keep Riptide and Percy's shield watch
only the 100s (and Kin who is #50) have special powers. So either way it would be similar but again, different
