Jasmine is quiet and caring and a little shy, though she can be a warrior when need to, she prefers the diplomatic side more. She is deeply attached to her sister Jade, Jade looks out for her by speaking up and Jasmine helps her sister ot control her anger. Jasmine is also very feminine and enjoys wearing dresses and pretty costumes from time to time

Jade is sister to Jasmine. Jade is dogmatic, quick-tempered, quick-thing, quicker to the blade then to think, she is also out-going, friendly, and very kind to her close friends. She also hates dressing up and only wears her vest and the criss-crossing belts that hold the sheaths for her katanas

Nickia was abandoned when she was just under three years old. She was raised by a Lizron (A lizard-like life form) named Raymond. When she was thirteen she was infected with a deadly disease that she barely lived through. It took its toll on its on her body though. As a consequence her figure resembles a young man, rather than a young woman's. She also has a creasant shapped scar around her eye from the knife that infected her. She tries to make light of her bad situation, she often says "I don't care how I look, I'm just glad that God allowed me to live."

but stalks daily. cx I joined chicken smoothie last year on december second, and

this girl is probably my most cherished character as of now. pvp she's light-hearted and loves playing in the water, albeit
very competitive and sometimes unknowingly insensitive. splash likes salted caramel ice cream and cool, refreshing drinks.

2. Alaska - female albino maine coon
alaska is 100% pure sugar and sass. she's creative, fashion-forward (c;) and considerate, as well as rather stubborn and
self-indulgent. her favorite tv shows include the chew, qvc, project runway, and modern family.

sentimental and a little bashful, silas is mortally afraid of death and time. he's not mopey all the time, though - he'll get
excited whenever there are caramel chunk cookies around or apple cider, his favorite food and drink.

and proud. she's slightly hostile to people she doesn't know, but sweet to loved ones. she likes constellations and reading.

I'll admit I'm slightly picky with character designs, but if it isn't on the "strongly dislike" list it should be absolutely fine. uvu

love these traits: natural base colors, natural designs, unique/cute accessories, simplicity (meaning that there aren't ten different patterns crammed on one character)
strongly dislike: humanoids/anthros, anime, hair, punk/goth/emo themes, complementary/eye-burning colors (ex. red+green, yellow+purple, blue+orange), blood/bandaids/disease+death-related themes
other: since I have so few male characters, I'm hoping to get some boys?? uwu but I really love female characters as well, so I guess it's up to you! for examples of types of designs I like, check my character site or the designs of BabyWolverines (dA) and Colonels-Corner (dA), as they're my favorite artists.

Again,i'm not picky. I get attached to characters based on the personality and story that i give them.

Happy holidays, fellow CAAA member! If you would like to ask me any questions while remaining anonymous, please go to my makoatl's ask.fm account. It allows you to ask questions without identifying yourself. They will be glad to answer on my behalf, even though they won't be involved this year themselves. Now, first things first. Let me introduce to you 8 of my characters!

Here you see my babe, Sunny! He is a sushi dog (species by witchpaws on DeviantArt) and therefor MUST be drawn with the bandana on and with his eyes closed - absolutely no exceptions! You can see his full reference here. Sunny has his ears pierced twice with silver hoops, as well as little cone-shaped silver snakebite piercings on his lower lip. When outside in the sunlight, he is hella sparkly. Sunny is generally very friendly, confident, and happy. He likes to imagine that he is hardcore and awesome. His hair is his pride and joy - when it's not styled up (which is basically never - he wouldn't dream of going out without his hair gelled) then it falls flat over his eyes. He can be drawn doing seasonal or holiday stuff if you so desire.

Next is my other pompadour babe, Percy. Percy's art is by mute-owl on DeviantArt, who is also the person who designed him. He has some other silly art here. He is a fancy piebald standard poodle, and he is super chubby. The reason he is so chubby is because he absolutely loves to eat sweets - especially cute fancy desserts. The cuter and fancier, the more irresistible it is to him. Percy is so melodramatic that it is ridiculous. He is always very expressive, and the smallest things will set him off. He is extremely vain; he's the most magnificent thing to have ever walked the planet in his eyes. He is a gossip and can be quite mean and sarcastic at times, although he would never actually harm or wish bad on anyone. He just has a bit of a sharp tongue. Percy is gay and very flamboyant about it, he loves boys and flirts constantly. If you prefer drawing anthro characters, Percy can be drawn anthro. He can be drawn doing seasonal or holiday things if you so desire.

Here we have Niraj the husky. He was designed by marmaiade on DA, although the art featured to the left is by h-hasuki/manduia. Niraj can be drawn wearing essentially anything, his sweater collection is massive, so you can get as creative as you want or you can copy one of the existing ones such as this by marmaiade or this by h-hasuki. He loves fashion and dreams of being a fashion designer one day. Niraj is shamelessly flirtatious to everyone regardless of gender, and he can totally be drawn trying to put the moves on a character of yours if you desire. He imagines that he's such a charmer, but sometimes he just comes off as arrogant. Note that Niraj has an undercut hairstyle, meaning the sides are shaved - if you're unfamiliar with this look then please do an image search before you draw him. If you want to do seasonal or holiday art, that works fine for Niraj.

This is Nuo, my kitsune character. The art to the side is by marmaiade on DA. Nuo is a mischievous kitsune who, in the past, played a lot of pranks and tricked a lot of humans. However, he is trying to change his ways so that he can become a 9-tailed kitsune, which are the wisest, oldest, and most powerful of kitsunes. So now he tries to do good deeds in hopes that he can slowly get the rest of his tails, but old habits die hard. He lives in a fox shrine in Japan. The kitsunebi that surround him are almost always there, but they're optional if you don't wish to draw them. He has a human form which you may draw instead if you prefer drawing humans. I have no art of his human form, but he turns into a Japanese woman whose hair is the color of his darker facial fur. She wears traditional kimono and hides her three tails under the fabric. Nuo cannot be drawn doing holiday things (he doesn't celebrate anything), although seasonal "winter" art is perfectly acceptable.

Or you could do another new character of mine, Razvan. Raz was designed and drawn by marmaiade on DA. Raz stays up all night reading comics and playing games, so his eyes are always bloodshot from being exhausted. He loves to flirt with strangers online, but when it comes to in person, he is incredibly quiet and shy, and he would never dream of saying those things face-to-face. If you prefer drawing anthro characters, feel free to draw Raz as an anthro! He would likely wear geeky clothing; you can interpret that however you like. If you want to draw seasonal or holiday art, it might be best to choose another character. Raz is typically tired and acts a bit miserable all the time, so it's unlikely he would enjoy the holiday stuff.

If you prefer humans, you could draw Henry, who was designed and drawn by SugarBooty over on DA. Note that Henry's name is tentative so please do NOT make any art with his name on it. He is a bear kemonomimi. Henry loves fairy tales, and his favorite is The Frog Prince. He has become quite obsessed with frogs, as you can see. He dreams that one day he will kiss a frog, and the frog will turn into a handsome prince who will live happily ever after with him. However, Henry has had no luck. His current frog companion he affectionately calls Prince and talks to as if he were a person, even though Prince seemingly doesn't really understand him. Henry believes that the reason Prince is still a frog is because Prince likes girls and not boys, so his kisses have not worked on him. You can draw him doing seasonal or holiday things, and feel free to change his outfit to fit what you're drawing, however you MUST stick with the color palette and frog theme. You can also choose to draw him as a bear if you wish. I have no art of him as a bear, but you can interpret him how you wish.

This is Suzume, she is a Japanese Bob Tail cat. Here's her ref (omg I'm sorry I can't draw cats). She is very caring and nurturing, and treats everyone like a child of hers. However, when crossed, she can turn vicious. Generally, like most cats, she is found sleeping in strange places. She actually lives in Japan, so it is unlikely that she would be drawn doing any holiday things. She is a much more natural cat character than the others, so she wouldn't be drawn doing extremely unnatural things such as driving a car or cooking or something. I have yet to design or have designed a litter of kittens for her, but Suzume has had many litters with many different male cats. If you felt like designing a kitten of hers (can be with a character of yours or a made up cat character) that would be fine with me!

I've chosen Brazen for my final character here this year. Brazen is a completely made up species; he was drawn by mute-owl on DA. He is roughly the size of a large bear, and he can stand on all fours like a bear. He has a soft, fleshy growth on his nose similar to that a mole, and it gives him a sixth sense that humans do not have, which makes him able to feel vibrations in the air and ground around him. His eyesight is very poor, but his other senses are very heightened, especially his sense of touch. Because of this, he is very sensitive to being touched, and even just cuddling can be extremely pleasurable for him. He's a very sexual creature. He is very sensitive to different feelings and loves to rub against things with interesting textures. He tends to be extremely happy, but he is prone to being overly sensitive and paranoid about how other people feel about him.

So, now you've met the gang for this year's round of Secret Santa. I tried to include one human and one female, as well as some non-canines in case just doing a bunch of male dogs bores you or doesn't float your boat. Now, part of the Secret Santa things involves a character design. So I suppose you're going to want to know more about my preferences. That's where the next part comes in - Here are my character design preferences! You do NOT have to use them all, you can just pick and choose between the sections, or even just stick to one. The only thing I ask is you try to take all or most of the NOs into consideration.

• No really complex designs that are difficult for artists to recreate
  
• No "original species" like cinnadogs or waterdogs or trancelings, etc on DA. I generally really dislike having characters that must fit in with someone else's rules and ideas on the species. There are some exceptions (like deersserts and makoatl here on CS) but I just really dislike adoptable species.
  
• I really dislike neon/rave sparkledogs.
  
• Not a big fan of monkey characters, but literally any other species is cool with me! Doesn't just have to be canine.
  
• I dislike characters based on pre-existing characters (for example, I really dislike how many people have like Loki or Captain America characters that are literally just the same character but in dog/cat/other animal form)
  
• Absolutely no characters that have markings or colors that shift with their mood. This is a HUGE no for me. (although changing seasonally is perfectly fine)
  
• No food based designs, please! Sushi dogs and deersserts are the only exceptions
  
• Only give the character wings if it makes sense (for example a dragon or bird-hybrid character). I don't like designs with wings just slapped on.
  
• No tail-mouths or any mouth in a weird place, please.
  
  

• I love characters inspired by other cultures, particularly Japan.
  
• I love hybrid, mutated, or one-of-a-kind species
  
• I love palettes from Design Seeds - in fact, I have selected a large number of my favorites and put them in a pinterest board here. Note that if you use one of these palettes exactly, please keep track of which one it was and let me know via PM or something. I like to remove palettes from that board once I have used them or had them used by someone else.
  
• I really like designs inspired by legends, mythology, cryptozoology, and the paranormal
  
• If you want to use one or more of my fandoms as inspiration, then I've made a small list of my fandoms for you
  
• I love horror and apocalypse themes
  
• I like characters that only have a handful of colors, unless they're wearing a bunch of differently colored accessories. Generally, the character alone shouldn't have more than like 8 or 10 colors in total (and that's the absolute max, less is preferred!)
  
• Anthro, human, or feral is perfectly fine with me! I have no preference about that.

Art

1.Hiccup : Male : JBD

Hiccup is a very nervous and antisocial bean. He has anxiety when it comes to strangers, and mostly anyone outside of his family. When situations get too crazy with noise and movement, he will tie his scarf around his maw. His wings where made by his father, and so he pretends he is a dragon.
He is the middle son of the Toothlynn family. Amanda Lynn is his mother, Toothless is his father, Katniss is his older sister, and baby brother named Bowen.

2.Captain Barry : Male : Guui Pup

Barry is a self-proclaimed sea captian who will swallow a gallon of water just to keep the ship inside of him afloat. He is a very go-with-the-flow (pardon the pun) type of person, who doesn't worry about many things outside of issues with the ecosystem and the ocean.

3.Link : Male : Kiamara

Link is a very modern kia. While he is flirtatious and easy to make friends with, he has another side. He has internal fears that others wont like him, and that he will never be good enough. These fears often drive him into pushing others away. However, with his guard up, he very open to strangers, and flirty to all.
He is the last son of Andrew and Vanellope. He has an older sister named Anastasia and an older brother names Tristan.

4.Moriah "Mori" : Female : Mako

Mori is a very happy Mako. She has issues speaking and using the correct words, so she will say seemingly strange things like "I see you," instead of "I love you." Otherwise, she has a strong sense of humor and is very ticklish.
She is a daughter of Serenade and Axel and has a brother, Dragomir

5.Brennan : Male : Entlebucher Mountain Dog

•He always has his eyes closed.
Brennan is a very hipster-esqe dog with a love of the lesser known things in life. He takes several grueling college classes online, and makes a habit out of getting up close to noon. While not hanging out with his friends, he can be seen creating music or art, or even catching up on his latest fandoms.

6.Unamed Warrior : Male(?) : Warrior Cat

Sadly, this guy does not have a personality just yet, but he does have a family- his clan, which is currently being structured.
•I feel that he would have a close connection to this cat, if you are kind enough to draw him with another clan member c:
•I feel there would be a mutual respect with this cat, with an unsure relationship
•Bandi is more antisocial with others of the clan outside of Riley.

7.The Gatekeeper : Male : Anthro Feline/Feline

The Gatekeeper is a very twisted individual who doesn't quite care what he does, as long as it pleases him to do it. (Much to the expense of others) The longer his horns grow, however, the less of a grip on reality he has. As his name suggests, he is the keeper of the gate, meaning he can open any door/lock. He is a collector of sorts, and the pouch at his belt is full of stolen items, and ths keyring holds keys that no longer have a lock to go to. He is pretty careless, though quick tempered, and wields a key-blade that he uses when he fights.

8.Keizer : Male : Wolf

A very excitable male who makes adventures out of what he can. He loves running and quick paced actions. Although he's a young adult, he tends to act as though he where still a child, and so enjoys childish games, cartoons, and silly comics.
He has a brother, Easton, and a sister.

He keeps to myself, since no one really likes he's dirt.
Even though he isn't well liked, he is still very happy and playful all the time.

I co-own this cutie with Kalise and we don't have much written up on it yet, but we are getting there.
For now know that he is very active and loves to jump and run around.

I have a very diverse taste in characters,
I like unique ones but I also like simple designs.
Since I don't know how to describe it any better,

Just one last note is that I would love some more human characters,
but I am very picky about them.

Hello c: I'm ~Stormfly and I am a CAAA member. This will be my first secret santa so I'm super excited! I remember seeing this thread last year and thinking how amazing it would be to be able to join in so I'm so glad I can now <3
Just a quick note before we begin - if it isn't appropriate for CS, then I do not want it in art.

1: Unnamed-- Male -- Anthro Only-- Mute and heard of hearing
This boy is one of my newest characters, but he's already becoming
one of my favourites. He's completely mute and has poor hearing
skills so he communicates in sign language. I don't have a
personality completely fleshed out for him yet, but I imagine
him as quite arrogant and detached, polite but not really
caring about others. He's gay and is happy with that.
I'd love art of him 'speaking' in sign language - perhaps
mid way through a phrase. This very useful website provides translations
of most words to sign language. He is American so please make sure
you use the appropriate translation <3

2:Unnamed -- Male -- Cat/Human/Anthro -- Is a warrior with hemophobia
Another new character is this one, and again I already love him. He's a cat warrior,
but can be drawn as anthro or human. He has quite severe hemophobia, which is
the fear of blood, but that doesn't stop him. He uses strangling techniques that
yield less/no blood and has a blindfold with him at all times in case he needs
to fight using a dagger or claws. His sharp senses make him still effective blind,
although less so.
I'd love any CS appropriate art of him fighting, training or doing anything related to
his occupation, although any art at all of him would of course be amazing.

3: Ruth -- Female -- Canine/Butterfly Only -- Has a sibling, Rourke
Ruth is a curious creation, that is for sure. She is half butterfly, half canine, with a few surprises
thrown in the mix. She always has at least three butterflies with her, and the flowers and
slides in her hair are never removed. She can be drawn without any outfit, with her cherry
outfit or with any outfit. She's a bubbly little thing, rather impatient. She wishes her brother
could be more normal and friendly, but loves him all the same.
She adores strawberry milkshakes and is an apprentice glass blower, so any art illustrating
that would be amazing! Art of her with her brother would also be fantastic.

4: Rourke -- Male -- Canine/Butterfly -- Has a sibling, Ruth
Rourke is far more noticeably half butterfly than his sister, with large and flight capable wings.
He's quieter and less sociable because of it, as he simply cannot pass off as a normal canine.
He can be grumpy, insensitive and fight-picking, but is very fond of his sister and wouldn't
hurt her.
I'd love any art of him with his sister or flying, or anything else that fits his personality.

5: Cinna -- Male -- Corgi/Anthro/Human -- one of my fursonas c:
Cinna is a much loved, although fairly new, fursona of mine. His information and personality
are here, but in case you don't want to read that then a quick summary of him is that he's
rather old fashioned but has plenty of swagger. He loves designing scarves which he does
for a living. He generally wears the scarf shown but can be drawn with any scarf or
without the scarf.
I'd love some art of him sewing or modelling scarves, but anything would be amazing!

6: Aya -- Female -- Collie/Anthro/Human -- one of my fursonas c:
Aya is my second fursona - again, quite new but I really connect with her and love her.
She doesn't yet have an information page, but she's a young puppy - around five in
human years - who is quite cheeky and very energetic. She loves to chase sheep
and is being trained to herd the lambs and older ones. She also adores doing
agility courses.
I'd love any art of her doing the above activities or generally just displaying
puppy-like behaviour.

7: Lari -- Female -- Kiamara/Anthro -- Forest healer/knitting master
Lari's personality has undergone many changes recently, but I think I shall be sticking with her
being rather innocent, not understanding sarcasm, but taking advantage of that innocence to
manipulate people. She loves to knit outfits for people and has a hut in the forest where she
looks out for animals and, if they're injured, helps them heal. She goes slightly crazy over pets,
loving how eager they are, so different from wild ones.
I'd love any art at all of her, particularly if it involves animals of any kind. Here is an anthro
reference of her if you wish to draw her as such.

Alek -- Male -- JBD/Anthro -- skittle obsessed
Alek is my Jellybean Dragon and I adore him! He is rarely ever seen without the
accessories shown here, which haven't been added to his official reference
yet. He adores skittles and has achieved his dream job of working in a skittles
factory. He always walks with a swagger and is rather self-confident, but
a kind soul inside. He's sensitive to other's emotions and rather flirty to
both genders, being bisexual.
I'd love any skittle-related pieces although anything showing his
personality would be awesome.

As you can see, my characters are pretty different from eachother so I don't really have set likes/dislikes -- just tasteful and medium-low complexity designs. As for species, I love most humanoid characters and mammals/birds. Original species, closed or open, are awesome too! Especially Sushi dogs, hehe.
