Characters



Micah. Male kiamara.
Micah is a priest who isn't as kind on the inside as he appears to be. He is extremely greedy, secretly using his position for material gain. He is intent on getting what he wants and not getting caught, no matter what it takes. He's intelligent and for the most part, mature. He's courteous to others, acts humble, and is open-minded. Micah is optimistic and does a great job of at least pretending to care about other kias' feelings, which he finds difficult to do unless it pertains to his interest.
He can be a bit of a drama queen, especially when it comes to his mane. He puts a lot of work into maintaining it, so he doesn't like it to be touched without permission or get dirty.






Pyralis. Genderless (referred to as male) African Wild Dog/Phoenix hybrid.
Pyralis isn't exactly a joy to be around. He's pessimistic, introverted, sarcastic, and has a dark sense of humor. He hates pretty much every living being and will make sure they know it. He avoids others since he despises the attention he gets for having the blood of the legendary phoenix; this has been exploited in the past. Pyra is secretly very lonely, but would never dare admit it.






Lamar. Male seakit.
Lamar is known as an incredibly chill guy who always looks like he's in need of more sleep. He might seem pleasant to hang around, but he has a habit of randomly tuning people out while they're talking. He's also very forgetful, so as you can guess, he can be a pain to attempt to have a conversation with. Not only that, but he's prone to mood swings. One second he could be his relaxed self, but suddenly seething with fury the next. He also gets sick fairly often, but is never that concerned over it. However, albeit odd, Lamar is a nice guy for the most part.

Beryl. Female kiamara.
Beryl is an intelligent, mischievous young lady with a hatred for 'feminine things' with the exception of her bow (criticism not welcome). She has her father's temper and can get pretty feisty. She is working towards becoming a scientist. She sets time aside nearly everyday to read, paint, or do something else artistic. During those time periods, she likes to be alone and doesn't want to be bothered.






Bryndis. Female deersert.
Bryndis's favorite thing about the ocean is the mythology and legends that surround it. For example, the alluring sirens whose beautiful singing led unaware sailors to their demise. Or the kraken: the enormous, sea monster of a squid known by causing many a ship to sink. The vast, mysterious ocean has allowed many interesting stories like so to be created and Bryndis enjoys every single one. Plus, not only does she very much enjoy them all, she also believes them all and will not be swayed otherwise.

Bryndis much prefers the company of mythological books over any other living creature. She doesn't enjoy interacting with others and will talk fast, walk fast, and do pretty much anything quicker in order to get out of the situation as soon as possible. Bryn doesn't believe these moments to be worth her time, since she could be somewhere reading instead. If they're willing to discuss mythology, then she might stick around for a little while longer, however. She may be a quiet girl, but that doesn't make her soft-spoken. When she is speaking, she is often sarcastic and always highly opinionated.






Nero. Male seal dog thing.
(His tail is basically just a fluffy seal tail)
Nero is arrogant and spoiled. He expects others to do work for him while he criticizes in the background and doesn't like to lift a finger. He enjoys decorating himself with objects he finds pretty. The only one he appears able to be nice to is his mate, Caesar.






Caesar. Male seal dog thing.
(His tail is basically just a fluffy seal tail)
Caesar is a natural leader. For the most part, he is kind, but not afraid to be honest. He's constantly brimming with energy and is very brave.






Barnaby. Male African Wild Dog/bearded vulture hybrid.
He doesn't really have a set personality, so feel free to do whatever.

I'm RavenclawHobbit, most call me Raven. I'm a character hoarder, and of course a CAAA member. I participated in Secret Santa (or as I like to say, CHRISTMAS NINJAS) last year, and I'm already super pumped for another round! A preliminary thank you to my SS And I look forward to meeting my own partner.

Art:My characters are my babies and it makes me super happy to get art of them! That's definitely my favorite thing.
I am open to all different types and styles of art, so feel free to get creative! Art by you would be super rad, but ordered art is cool too if drawing's not your thing. Here are some of my characters:

I'm working on developing the ones I have and it's going very slowly, so I'm not super keen on taking on new projects. ~I write my own stories about my characters, so I tend to get really touchy about the way they are written. So I'd prefer not to receive stories or poems as gifts.
~Chase, Avery and Gavin are from the same "universe", and Dustin and Todd are from another one. The rest of these characters are independent of one another so I'd prefer you didn't draw them interacting.

Species preferred: canines, big cats, any type of anthros, and dragons. Also up to different species as long as it isn't a weird mix
Themes/inspirations: something to do with the elements, knights, tribe, assassins, warriors, super heroes, characters based off of Person of Interest (I love Reese); Superheroes from DC or Marvel (Looove Nightwing and Flash)
Colors liked and disliked: Natural colors. A little bit of unnatural colors are fine for markings and such but no neon colors or anything overly bright
Accessory ideas: I like packs, swords, armor, bows and arrows, any type of weapons, cloaks. Bandanas, scarfs, and any type of jewelry (just not a lot of piercings though), feathers, amulets

I'd be happy to receive anything! I don't collect CS pets as much anymore, though.
I love art! Anthro, human, feral, anything!

As for character designs, I love natural colours with some unnatural. I like pastel colours, too.
I prefer feline and canine species (including foxes), and rodents. I'm not a fan of equines, reptiles or birds.
Though I don't like equine characters much, I love deer. I don't mind a mixture of different species with equines (eg. deercat)

I like bells, feathered wings, scarves, little trinkets, anything like that. I'm not a fan of gore or mecha.

Female, loves chocolate bars, especially mars and milky ways, stargazing/anything space related and gummy sweets. Often seen hanging around Neko, who she thinks of as an older sister. Playful, easily scared, quick to defend.

Gender; Male

-- Hawke is, quite simply, a teddy-bear with a tough exterior. Always one to push away others before they get too close, his domineering and aggressive personality can often deter others almost as much as his foul mouth and often overly sarcastic and witty statements. However, despite this, he often finds himself caring deeply for others and generally seeks affection of some kind, in his weird, twisted way. Although not one to express declarations of love, many know that Hawke cares for them, even if he only shows it with the faint smile that graces his lips on occasion.

Gender; Assumed to be male

-- Mute and with a rather grotesque appearance, Monty is nothing like what many would assume upon first glance. Sweet and overly nice, he seeks affection, much like an oversized puppy, and tends to be quite naïve in the ways of the world. Innocent and cute, despite the missing limbs and skin, Monty tends to win over the hearts of many, just with his endearing view of the world. Despite this, however, he is not stupid, and he often notices the glances of disgust at his faults, and will often disappear for days at a time when the look comes from someone he adores.

Gender; Female

-- Quite easily described by her profession, Eliza is simply a pirate. With language that could colour anyone's cheeks and sass that often deters many, she is very much one of the most interesting sorts you will meet. Having spent most of her life on the seas, she sees no alternative, and although being a pirate, she still has high morals when thieving from others. Cunning and manipulative, Eliza is most known for her flirtatious manner, and her extreme attraction to gold. Pacify her with vast amounts of shiny objects worth lots or a form of eyecandy she can have her way with, and most often she'll offer you a favour for the future. However, be warned! She is a woman with a short temper and will be more likely to take off your limbs than she will to accomodate your wishes.

Gender; Female

-- An assassin in every sense of the word, Ailin is sharp, cunning and every bit as deadly as her occupation would suggest. Manipulative and cold, she no longer gets close to anybody, and has never had any intention to. More for forming mutual alliances rather than friendships, the archer isn't the least bit as traditional as one would come to expect and she refuses to bow down to any stereotypes or idealisms society may have for one of her standing. Ailin is quite known for her 'God may care attitude' and none have managed to breach the wall she uses to shield her heart.






Name; Daxon
Gender; Male

-- Brash and honest to a fault, Dax isn't exactly what most would call a "soft" person, and because of this many tend to keep him at arms length. He can be quite rude to others, perhaps not intending to insult or demean and yet many of his comments come off as such. Competitive and rough, he isn't one to give up easily, and is often quite stubborn, regardless of situation, and yet being cocky and flirtatious, he could perhaps attract more interest if he wasn't as irritable if one gets too close.






Name; 'Bird'
Gender; Male

-- A harpy who was discovered on Earth, lost and confused, Bird is a sweet, yet quirky, creature. Unable to speak the human tongue [instead he tends to twitter or chirp not much different from that of a bird], many interactions with the harpy leave everyone confused. He has no understanding of the human world, and inventions such as clothes are confusing to him, and so he will often end up using them for the wrong thing. He tends to pick up random pieces from close friends, storing them away in his 'nest', although if they are mentioned, he becomes flustered easily. Quite shy and easy to embarrass, Bird often has a faint red tinge to his cheeks, noticeable by all.

I recently joined the CAAA though I don't post a ton on there. I'm really excited to do this Secret Santa thing mostly because I enjoy drawing other peoples characters, especially for free <3 Anyways, my wishlist is below! Oh, and here's the link to my DA.

Art
I'm looking for art of my three JMDs (Jewel Mane Dragons), my three Plumerians, and my newest character Maius (a mermaid). You can find all of most of my characters here.

Rynn (JMD) -- She's an isolated and antisocial Dragon, who prefers to keep to herself and hates interacting with others. She's well educated and intelligent, and has been studying botany for years. Rynn is also very observant of others, and keeps her opinions, thoughts, and feelings to herself for the most part.

Deveroux (JMD) -- Deveroux isn't just your typical flirtatious player. He's manipulative and malicious, and doesn't care what people think of him. He's demanding, and uses whatever means he has to get what he wants. Deveroux is physically strong and mentally quick, believing that he's invincible but is always paranoid since he never knows if someone is following him or not.

Ryker(JMD) -- *his page isn't finished yet so the info here is all that I have on him at the moment. Ryker is a quiet guy, but he can be quite the party animal. He isn't shy about his feelings, or anything really, but does prefer to work alone than with others. He's a dorky scientist, who owns his own bookstore and lectures at the local university. Generally, he's determined and stubborn, and refuses to admit that he's wrong.

Michael (Plumerian) -- Michael is just your average, normal guy. He plays in a band and is famous, but seeing as he's the drummer he isn't that well known and is totally fine with it. Michael is chill about most things and easy going. He's always in a relaxed state of mind, and only becomes snippy when he's been up all night working. Michael can be overprotective sometimes, as well as overly defensive. He's also not good at expressing his emotions.

Veronica (Plumerian) -- Veronica is a private investigator. She's sarcastic and rude, and is only focused on getting her job done in any means possible. She's secretive about her private life, and reveals her true identity to no one. Veronica often acts, then thinks, but can be calm and collected when needed. Everything about her life revolves around her work.

Coraline (Plumerian) -- Coraline is a bright and bubbly little girl. She loves playing with her older sister Emmeline and using her imagination. She's very enthusiastic and optimistic, and often says things that she doesn't mean. Coraline has a huge imagination, and believes that she's a princess and that faeries exist. She also loves adventure as well.

Maius (Merman) -- Maius is essentially a traveling newsman, and loves to hear about gossip. He isn't quite sure about who he really is or where he's going, but at least he has something to do with his life. Maius isn't honest, often cheats others, and flirts with others from time to time. He doesn't care what others think of him, as he's more concerned with what he thinks of himself. He's not fond of large social interactions, and often acts more like a kid than a mature adult.

Characters
I love hybrid/mixed characters, especially human/animal hybrids such as mermaids, humans with wings, claws, talons, etc. I mostly want human characters, but I'm fine with unique canine/feline characters as well if you can't draw humans ^^

Human wise, as much as I love hybrids, I'm down for just a simple human character as well. Really, I want a dorky gamer, who wears oversized clothing and has long hair. Any ethnicity is fine for this character, and a male is preferred. If you draw a hybrid character, anything goes! I don't care the species, ethnicity, or gender of this character as long as the colors and designs don't clash.

I also have this really cute idea for a male half deer character. I've posted a sketch of him on my DA [url=link]here[/url] (will link when I've uploaded it). I would just need a digital drawing/reference sheet of him. This is also just an option if you can't draw humans or don't want to go with this idea ^^

For feline/canine characters, anything goes as well. I don't know what I want, but here's a list of things I don't want in a character:
