I can't figure out how to make lock alpha work, really.

Yeah, my parents won't buy anything like that and priacy often doesn't work. so I'll stick to cropping pics onto other pics, working with my horse, and singing.

I think I understand it now! thanks so much, but it doesn't tell me what to do with a different person's piece that has tons of layers.

Don't people usually tell you which layer to color on? Or at least name their layers? If they don't, my only suggestion is to try a layer, and if it isn't the right one then undo the coloring and try again on a different layer. I'm pretty sure Ctrl+Z works in Oekaki but it's been awhile since I tried coloring anything in it.

So I may as well announce the good news here. I may be getting my laptop back as soon as Tuesday! I might, no promises on this, but I might do something special to celebrate. Dunno what yet so I'm open to suggestions. Not a new species, but once I do have said laptop I will probably start experimenting with making some.

I've found an oekaki artist to help me, hopefully I can really make some art now.

hm. Maybe you could make new hairs/tails for the teamaids? and give out free tea blends for a limited time? (*points at self* Teamaid fan)

Lol, if I gave out free tea blends I know I'd be swamped. I've been thinking they need a new tail option, but I'm not sure what. I've considered something like an eel but I think that would be very tricky to make work. A shark tail perhaps? Or maybe I'll actually get around to making some boy eyes, or ear fins.

Maybe arm fins or extra fins on the tail?like on the one in your sig, have fins like are on the end on the sides as well, you could do the same with the fan tail.

I've done a couple of customs now that had additional fins on the tails, but I could certainly make some as an optional pre-made part. I'll have to play with that, see if I can make any that look good.

yeah, or arm fins, like those found on lagoona blue (a monster high chararcter) but so they match the tail (so like with the dolphin tail it'd be like a shark fin on her arm)
