Tribe Rules
-After adopting, you have 1 month to place them in a tribe.
-Bred chatloups go into either of the parents' tribe; the owner chooses.
-Twice a year, in April and in November, is a re-homing event, when you can change a chatloup's tribe. Re-homing rules are made available during these events.
-Each tribe has an alpha. The alpha is a moderator; they are in charge within the tribe. Listen to them.
-When a tribe topic is reposted(500 pages) or when the old alpha decides to step down, there will be a tryout for a new alpha, set up by the old alpha.
-Not all your chatloups have to be in the same tribe.
-All chatloups must be in a tribe.
-A tribe may have its own set of rules; you must obey them.
Chatloups organize themselves into tribes, of which there are several. Each tribe is led by an alpha, who solves disputes within the tribe and acts as a mouthpiece when interacting with other tribes. Each tribe also has its own colour; this colour is worn as a tailband, in order to identify what tribe the chatloup is from.
Every tribe has its own culture and set of rules as well; some may be harder to get into than others; one may be warlike, while another is peace-loving.
Here is a list of tribes, and a little bit about them:
Avaritia---Avaritia wear deep blue with specks of silver, almost like the night sky. They are hoarders of whatever they like most. Members of this reclusive tribe love to surround themselves with whatever trinkets they have hoarded, and show off their collection at every chance they get. They are a peaceful, yet quite snobby, tribe. Avaritia call the beaches and nearby grasslands their home, and will often compete for the "nest" nearest the ocean.
Naturae Pacem---This tribe's colours are stripes of burgundy and black. They are peacekeepers, and often wear flowers and twigs in their manes as tokens of that fact. Their territory is made up of a lovely forest of maples and birches with a flower-filled clearing in the center.
Montem Viridis---Montem Viridis sports a brilliant forest green with white accents. Montem chatloups are fond of pomp and formalities, much like a high-class English society. The tribe has a weakness for forming alliances, and so often become unwilling parts of various conflicts. These always-honourable chatloups make their dwelling within a mountaintop cave system, their territory extending over the entire mountain.
Fera Marinis- Tribe Fera Marinis proudly bears the colors of the sea; aqua and light tan. The tribe has a reputation of being wild, adrenaline-seeking, and fierce. They live along the ocean's coast and are adept at climbing the treacherous cliffs that separate the land from the sea.
Essentia- The tribe of Essentia sort the splendid colours of royal purple and gold. These chatloups value creativity and freedom above all else, and are known for their imagination. Essentia chatloups are fascinated with the stars, and celebrate the season's change with festivals and gifting. Their territory is found at the base of a mountain, where deep-running caves hide beneath a lovely, yet mysterious, swamp.
