1. Do not claim the species as your own.
2. Do not remove my signature from the image.
3. Do not edit the image in any way.
4. You cannot edit forms in any way or add anything that the artist has not asked for.
5. Do not copy or recreate individual chatloup designs; these are unique and belong to their owner.
6. Do no copy or recreate the Maned Chatloup species as your own; it belongs to me.
7. You can apply for more than one at once, but you will still only win one.
1. Only one every two weeks.
2. After adopting, you have 1 month to 'accessorize'.
3. After adopting, you have 1 month to choose its tribe.
4. If you do not accessorize and choose a tribe within 1 month from winning the chatloup, you will lose the chatloup and it will go up for adoption again. This also applies to customs and breedings!
1. No same-sex breedings- you can only breed a male with a female.
2. Each chatloup has 5 breeding slots- use them wisely!
3. If you do not own a chatloup, you must obtain quoted permission from its owner in order to breed it.
4. You can only send in a form if the artist is open.
5. You may suggest up to 3 features you'd like to see in the cub.
But remember these are only suggestions- the breeding artist does not have to do them if they don't want!
6. You may NOT send a form to an artist who is not open; you may NOT bribe an artist to accept your form or open sooner; you may NOT push an artist to accept your form or open sooner; you may NOT push an artist to finish a breeding sooner.
7. You may order 1 breeding every 2 weeks; the countdown starts the day the cub is created.
1. When breeding chatloups with rare markings (see marking guide), the cub will only have the marking if:
A. BOTH parents have it
B. You use 1 of your suggestions to suggest it
2. When breeding chatloups with uncommon markings, including stains(see marking guide), only one parent needs to have it; but it probably won't appear in a cub unless you suggest it.
3. Stains are not genuine bases, but variations on a base; therefore, breeding a chatloup with a stain may create a cub with the base the stain is from, or another stain altogether.
For instance- sanguine + sable may result in a sable, sanguine, or gules baby- or even murrey, which appearance-wise is between gules and sable.
If you win a custom follow these rules
1. You cannot have rare markings.
2. No disobeying Rule of Tinctures (RoT).
3. For RARE customs, you can have 1 rare marking and you can disobey the RoT.
4. If you win a custom, you may design it using the custom lines. Then PM your custom to me (Trou). I may ask you to change a few things, but as long as you follow marking rules, you should be fine!
5. Once I have approved your custom, PM your request with a link to the custom on the custom lines AND my quoted approval to an artist of your choice.
6. The artist reserves the right to deny your request for whatever motives; if they do, you are free to ask another.
7. Do NOT pressure an artist to accept your request or to complete your custom sooner; they do these things in their own time.
1. After adopting, you have 1 month to place them in a tribe.
2. Bred chatloups go into either of the parents' tribe; the owner chooses.
3. Twice a year, in April and in November, is a re-homing event, when you can change a chatloup's tribe. Re-homing rules are made available during these events.
4. Each tribe has an alpha. The alpha is a moderator; they are in charge within the tribe. Listen to them.
5. When a tribe topic is reposted (500 pages) or when the old alpha decides to step down, there will be a tryout for a new alpha, set up by the old alpha.
6. Not all your chatloups have to be in the same tribe.
7. All chatloups must be in a tribe.
8. A tribe may have its own set of rules; you must obey them.
1. Be courteous.
2. No swearing.
3. No discussion of chatloup's sexuality.
4. In the fanclub, you may only discuss subjects relating to chatloups.
5. In tribe discussions, follow your tribe's discussion rules.
