Simas are cat/wolf creatures basically. Their paws resemble a wolves while their body structure could resemble a cat. Simas are also known as 'Sword Mammels'. This name comes from their tail. The tail is the most important part of a Sima's body. They resemble a sword most of all. They are thick and fluffy at the base and when the go down the tail, it gets thinner then widens into two tail guards like the guards on a sword. The jewel acts like the blade.
The jewel of a Sima comes in various shapes, sizes and colors, in which they make a Sima unique. Their eyes are always the same color as he jewels unless they have a special condition. Simas have a furry body, their mane around the neck the most furry of all. Even their ears are fuzzy. Baby Simas are more so however, with furry lips, poofier manes and slightly larger ears than what their heads would allow.
Simas are omnivores, meaning they could eat anything from fruit to the meat of a rabbit and even to things like candy or cake. Their teeth are sharp in the front with molars in the back to chew with. All Simas live or come from tropical places. Most are house Simas though and are transferred to other locations where they live with humans. In the wild they are usually in packs of ten. They are social creatures so that's good. Some Simas mate for life, while others like temporary mates.
The jewels of Simas glow at the night, illuminating the darkness when they want. Some jewel colors however cause darkness while others cause more interesting powers.
A Sima has two types of horns that are found in the wild. They are uncommon though to find a lot with them. There are long ones and short ones. Babies don't know which they got until they grow up.

Subspecies are simas that are of a certain type and design style that have become so big they are being regarded as different from other simas. Only the most popular of designs/styles can be considered a subspecies.

Galaxy simas must have stars and markings of bight colors across their body to be considered a part of the galaxy subspecies. These markings are generally a mix of two colors with a layer of glowing stars across them. Many Galaxy simas have galaxy hair - though this is not necessary.

Creator Description

Galaxy simas are simas born of the stars, galaxies imprinted on their pelts, jewels, and sometimes even their eyes. They do not gain any powers from being born of the stars - but are considered special regardless. Galaxy markings are generally a mix of two colors, though sometimes they may be only one.

Most Galaxy simas have fluff or hair of some sort, but this is not necessarily required to be considered a galaxy sima

Jewel Eater simas either have a saber jewel or jewels attached to their bodies.

Creator Description

Jewel Eaters to be considered as such have to have visible jewels on their bodies, absolute. The jewels are always the same color as their jewel, if not then they're not really a jewel eater. (on the account of X being his own thing and not a part of the subspecies).

The Jewel Eaters are also distinguished by the fact that their teeth are made of jewels- not bone like normal simas as bone is not strong enough to adequately break/shatter jewels.

True-Blood Jewel Eaters, like Quinn and Wolf, are capable of breaking/consuming the jewels of other simas along with normal minerals, however for the most part they simply eat minerals and gems instead of regular food though they are indeed capable of such. Most Jewel Eaters inherit a saber jewel, however it is not required to be considered a part of the subspecies.

Jewel Eaters are also notably bigger than normal simas, true-bloods by several feet if not a few in Wolf's case- however half bloods are bigger they are not incredibly large. Consider it this way, True-Bloods are like full-size bull tigers and half-bloods are like larger wolves.

Most Jewel Eaters also have an extravagant mane or extra fur on the ankles/tail, it's not really a trait of the species but considering the only true-bloods have these traits it's odd to find one without such things.

they are commonly feared and respected for their oddity. Other simas tend to stay away from them, or at least the True-Bloods, primarily because they ARE a threat to other simas.

The number of jewels on a Jewel Eater's pelt determines their rank- the more gems the higher you're considered in Jewel Eater society. Among Half-Bloods this is especially true seeing as they are not True-Blooded and these jewels place them as being closer to the True-Blooded nature of the subspecies than the other Half-Bloods with less. The averge number of jewels is 3-4 for Half-Bloods, more is considered obviously higher and less is considered, well, lesser.

Half-Bloods with more jewels tend to act the part around lesser Half-Bloods, however some are more sensitive of the feelings of others and don't generally act out of rank.

Another general trait of Jewel Eaters are their claws, which are also jewels instead of bone. It's believed in lore that instead of bone marrow their bones consist of the jewels they've eaten, however this theory has yet to be confirmed. In some cases these claws are retractable, such as Quinn where his claws are not visible most of the time.

The only standing exception to the visible jewel rule is Adam, an honorary member of the subspecies.
