After you've owned your JBD for at least two months, you have the option to age it into a teen stage. By aging, the JBD is coloured into the teen lineart. If the owner cannot get the colour in ('aging') done well an accurately, they should ask for the others to help. To get the bean to an adult stage, you need to wait 2 more months after the teen ref is posted to age it again.
Please note that you don't have to age the bean at all after two months. The two months thing is just the minimum amount of time one needs to wait.
