So I’m working on changing the style of my longneck drawings a bit, so I would really love if y’all could post some of your Longnecks down below for me to practice on...? It would be greatly appreciated!

Long time, no see.

I'm sorry I disappeared for awhile, but it looks like I finally have the time and energy to be back. And I'm really excited for that. I've missed chatting here with everyone, planning events and discussing all sorts of different things. That thing with longnecks having extending, slinky-esque necks still makes me laugh thinking about it.

So, how has everyone been?

I’m planning some adopts to make tomorrow, so every please look out for those! Also, does anybody have any suggestions for if we were to have a one year anniversary event as to what you might like to see?

I'm glad to be back! I really missed hanging out here in my free time.

I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for the new little ones you post! I've missed so many longnecks. ;-; All the artists have done such amazing work, as always.

As for an event... I think it'd be cute to have a lot of commons, just to sort of get back to the beginnings of Longnecks? Most events usually have a lot of rares and that's cool, but the ratio is a little off and I feel like commons could use a little more love. Maybe give them little party hats and sashes and fun things like that. It's a celebration, after all!

Yeah, commons are always something that's struggled with keeping the numbers up.
A lot of warm earthy toned longnecks would be cute.

Maybe some scooter stones could be given out and other such things in loo of rares and the like?

Um. Otherwise, I suppose... uh. Maybe something new years? Like a firework background made for the avatar or... you could get some ideas out of those anniversary lists, I mean they're for marriage but it could still be fun?
Like the first year is paper.
Second cotton, Third leather, Fourth fruit/flowers and so on so forth.

That would definitely be cool, also I would be more then happy to participate in a common longneck event. That's a great idea and it will help the rarity system a lot!

That's a good idea, Mastergirl! At least while the artist search is open, anyway. And related to that, it'd probably not hurt to have the Guest Artist Entries thread linked somewhere there as well. They are a little hard to find now, and people discovering Longnecks for the first time wouldn't have much of a way to know they even existed.
