*This was Melonny's new mantra as she braved the cold weather today, drawing the short straw among them all and as such- it was up to her to see if she could find anything to bring back home..*

"Heck yeah! Guys trip!" Aylin joked loudly as the group head out free of pups or pips. Nivir and Lorien had returned the pups to the clan hub. The pair were so excited to meet the new pup that GT had come across while they were out, that they didn't even notice the group of older omni head out without them.

Vin had tagged along for a change, silently interested in what the others did when they were gone. Unsurprisingly, Nivir was subtly annoyed being the only non lightning omni in the party this venture.

The skies are dotted with grey clouds as the two head out, accompanied by humid scented winds;
Tephra steps slowly and shyly, following Noelle, she still doesn't know what to think about her new guardian. Noelle, noticing her hesitation, decided to give her the most encouraging smile she can manage (which is still so awkward) and tries to start small talk.
Tephra was alone for a long time, venturing mindlessly without protection, and somehow managing to survive with sheer luck. If it was not for Noelle taking her in, there's a big chance she will starve and die.
Noelle decided this is a good time for possibly bonding: their first walk together. He matched his pace to Tephra's and they walk together in harmony.

RUMMAGING 11/22/25

The chill temperatures have dropped further somehow, it's nippy and unpleasant. Venturing Omni can see their breath as easily as the frigid fog hanging low across the wastelands.

Air and Water Pips seem more comfortable than others in this weather. (Reroll Bonus!)

Time to bundle up, being caught away from home in this weather would not bode well.

The colder weather not only chills to the bone and dampens spirits, but it seems to have frozen the land of anything useful today. Despite their having gotten some rest before wandering again, the best the pups manage to pick up besides neat rocks and sticks, is a paper clip. Surely there's a handy use for it in their future they determine as they tuck it away to keep. Perhaps tomorrow will yield a more rewarding find.

Unfortunately for Formis, new pups means teaching them all over what is or isn't useful to collect. While the newer pups bound around unphased by the weather, one of them picks up a strange round object they'd never seen before. It's breathable and somewhat squishy, that alone makes it an entertaining find as they hold it up for Formis to see more clearly. With a good wash, there's probably a good use for this dirty filter, Formis decides to let the pup hold onto it for the time being.

As the trio settled into their little found shelter to warm up from the frosty weather, they soon realize that at some point someone else also thought it was a good stash point. Looking over their recently collected loot, the pup suddenly held a clawful of wire up to Howler and with amused skepticism asked "Bet you'd say this is edible too, wouldn't you?" The jesting tone caused Rose to laugh and clap cheerfully at the pups find.

Repeating her mantra as she braved the cold to be productive and useful to her little collective clan, Melonny soon realized that it definetly would have been wiser to stay home. The weather turned only colder, the landscape was unsettlingly foggy and frosty. This did not deter the more feral omni that roamed the lands though. Distracted trying to find something worth while, Melonny failed to see the incoming assailant until it was too late. Her only blessing was that the cold had slowed it down about as much as her, as she was able to throw it off and make a shaky retreat with only a few scars to remember the encounter by.

While the three lightning omni chattered and took their time traversing the frigid landscape, Nivir wandered slightly adrift from the pack. His thoughts also drifted, as he mulled over the changing weather, the other groups of omni's they were on good terms with, how they would continue to survive the wastelands as the season changed for the worse. For as callous as he came off, he was full of concern for the survival of those he deemed worth his attention. Lost in these thoughts, he almost missed the way his steps changed from soft thuds across the dirt, to the wobbly clanky taps of sheet metal beneath him.

As the pair walk together, their conversation awkward but genuine, it doesn't take a blind omni to see that this is the start of a wonderful friendship between the two very different omni. Distracted trying to fid common ground and get to know one another, Tephra fails to see the clump of wire sticking from the ground, until they are tipped head over tail from tripping over it. Noelle is quick to help the younger omni back up before they investigate the cause more closely. Wire is certainly a good sign for the start of their journey!

*The water pip was silent as it followed Melonny through the wastelands in search of the new rummaging group. Honestly, Melonny was surprised the little thing hadn't frozen solid with how low the temps had dipped recently.*

"Don't worry Bobble, if you do end up freezing I'm sure we can use Zuko to thaw you back out."

Sunny was on the trail of something, following a very intentional path though the wasteland. Howler and Rose let him wander- it was nice to see him entertained and not causing trouble- but were surprised to find that he led them to... well, a pup of sorts. The excited specter tells them her name is Messoria shyly, and Sunny introduces himself, asking her to come help him find cool things! The pair of pups are immediately friends, and the older Omnis are happy to see him have a friend his age.

Fuego and Nessa walked for a bit, keeping their eyes on the surroundings. They were planning to meet up with Melonny to help them with scavenging the area. They decided to bring along a new pup from their usual group, Pele, who had begged the pair to teach them how to rummage for items.

Fuego looked ahead spotting their new friend. "Oh look! I see Melonny over that way," he stated plainly as he led the trio over. He eyed the pip curiously. "Oh! Hello. I've never crossed one of these little critters before."

Pele excitedly chirped as she bounded to the pip, full of intrigue and awe. She was more than content to just follow Bobble along and chirp away at it as the group made their way through the wastelands.

As Fromis sighs from the dirty lint filter the pups have found, he hopes they'll head his words of finding more shiny things to collect and play with as well as friends rather than dirty things that they can't have.

The air was filled with excited screech's as a small pack of pups bounded through the frigid fog. At the helm was Jack the most experienced and, albeit reluctant, leader of the four youngsters.

Jack, Barry and Makani, all equipped with thick fluffy fur, are determined to find something to help keep Viola, the smallest of the group, warm before the winter season fully sets in!

Noelle is trembling and chattering their teeth, and, jealousy looking exasperatedly at DEXA, who's looks unbothered by the weather.
"Are you not cold?" Noelle shouts, a little bit concerned; DEXA is a quiet but expressive Pip, and truly right now when it turned around to face her it seems extremely annoyed. Well, It certainly IS cold in demeanor.
Before a little "silent squabble" could've started, a loud rustle revrebates from the wilting bushes and both of them, forgetting their nuisances, curiously advanced forward to investigate.
