A soft, otherworldly glow pulses from a cluster of moss deep within the terrarium. It smells faintly of honey and ozone. Tiny sparkles rise into the still air.

Moros creeps forward, eyes wide. The moss shifts slightly... alive almost, but not in any way they understand. Something about this place is strange, and maybe a little dangerous.

- Coin Flip: Heads -

Moros steps carefully through the moss, the glow warming their feet. Their claws brush something cool and round. Moros digs. One cricket… then another… then another!

It’s as if the moss has rewarded them.

As the moon rises, strange music floats through the forest. Moros stumbles upon a dazzling gathering of lizardfolk in flowing robes and shimmering masks. It’s the Lizard Masquerade, and Moros is invited… if they can prove they belong.

But first, one of the elders raises a claw.
“Prove your place,” they say, “in wit, in dance, or in disguise.”

Moros descends cautiously. The vent shakes briefly, but they cling tight. They find a pile of old trinkets, scattered by those before them.

Suddenly, the ground begins to tremble. Hundreds of crickets swarm through the undergrowth in a loud, buzzing wave. It’s a feast, and Moros is ready.

Moros does not have enough stamina to continue this adventure.

It drops Caspian. Wounded, they limp home, heart pounding, their prized crickets scattered and stolen in the chaos.

This was more than a close call. It was a loss.

Caspian is unavailable for adventure for 1 Week
