Parsleyshadow would be distant from her clanmates, very aware of the disdain some of her clanmates hold for her and her brother; as far as those clanmates were concerned the only reason they were let into Mintclan is because they were going to die otherwise. The few that would attempt to befriend her would just end up being pushed away. This would leave Parsleyshadow with mostly her brother for companionship but unfortunately for her Basiltongue would inadvertently push her away in favor of proving himself. She would almost give completely up on making friends until she finally connects with one of her new clanmates, another young warrior- smokebreeze.

Basiltongue’s first moons in Mintclan would be spent in the healer’s den, recovering from a bad bout of sickness that struck him early into him and his sister’s journey. During his time confined to the den, he would befriend said healer as well as the cats who visited them most often; namely Featherstar. Basiltongue would come to look up to the queen, even more eager to prove himself as a strong and loyal warrior to his new clan. This eagerness would, unintentionally, drive a wedge between him and Parsleyshadow.
