Tinsel has been looking forward to trick or treating for months, and the time has finally arrived! She is dressed up as a ghost, with the classic sheet with holes cut in it for her to see through as her costume, but she has also added a few additional accessories to her costume to make it more unique. There is a bow on her head, a star shaped locket around her neck, and she also drew a happy smile on the sheet! With her ghost themed bag in tow, she sets out to visit the nearby houses, cheerfully announcing "Trick or Treat!" at each one. Over time, she accumulates quite a large collection of delicious treats, which she is eager to dig in to when she gets home. On the other hand, she is nowhere near ready for the evening to end; it is always so much fun to walk around the neighborhood collecting candy. She almost doesn't want it to ever end!

Haloween Prompt Entry!

"Log, get over here! It's time to put on the giraffe hat!" Placius shouted

He couldn't find his companion anywhere! He had recently purchased a very cute giraffe hat for them - this was their first Halloween together, and he wasn't sure how his companion would react to a costume, so he'd gone simple. He, on the other hand, had gone all-out, putting together an outfit that looked suspiciously like Log, complete with his own giraffe hat.

Suddenly, he heard a rustle from the other room. Before he could go investigate, Log rounded the corner, wearing an all-red outfit, with a stack of white disks in his mouth. He'd even found a pair of little antlers!

"Oh, buddy! You look wonderful! Did you see me making my costume and get excited?"
Log wagged their tail excitedly, and nudged Placius's front shins with the disks
"Of course I can help you finish your costume!

With a little glue here, and a few nudges with a hoof or a nose there, the disks where attatched in no time! But Log looked around expectantly - the costume was still missing something. The giraffe hat!

With that last item placed on, the pair of giraffes trotted off into the night, ready for trick or treats!

"Can I go Trick or Treating?"

Rem-Ember looked down at the little robot sitting in front of them and worked on figuring out how to answer the question. Technically yes, Unimate was completely capable of trick or treating, but they would have no use for the treats...
"You... you can... But why do you want to?"

The robot's eyes blinked a few times as it processed before responding "It's all anyone is talking about right now. Therefore it must be an important event. Therefore I should participate and learn more about it."

"Okay, well the first thing you have to decide is what you would like to dress up as to go Trick or Treating. Do you have a costume in mind?"

"I will be a robot."

"You are supposed to dress up as something you are not already. You are already a robot."

"Then I will dress up as a cat."

"You are a robot cat."

"But I am not a cat. Cat's eat and breathe and I do not. It will be simple to dress up as a cat. I will say MEOW and people will know my costume is a cat."

"Ummmm.... Sure....."

And so Unimate went Trick or Treating by saying "MEOW Trick or Treat" and then having to explain that they were a cat at every house.

Haloween Prompt Entry!

The Ghost had their own ideas about what was scary and what qualified as a "spooky good time." Being a spy and hunter by trade, they usually told their friends that they had no interest in something so petty as a "haunted" house when there were real terrors out there in the world...

Yes, that's what they said, at least. But whenever Halloween rolled around, there was a small part of them that reveled inwardly. Because as petty as they pretended the holiday was, it was nice to see others enjoying themselves so thoroughly, and especially to see that sometimes frightening things could be fun! And then there were the costumes...

The Ghost felt like they wore a costume all year, but today everyone else did too. So they decided, for once, to go trick-or-treating. Donning a simple bedsheet with holes cut for the eyes, they headed out into the night. Where normally others ran in genuine fear whenever The Ghost appeared, now they were able to laugh and chase down squealing fawns, saying "WhoooOOOOOooooooOOOoooo I'm a ghoooOOOOOOoooost" and delight their victims with their silliness.

They almost forgot to actually ask for candy, they were having such a good time fitting in! Thankfully, seeing brimming buckets of goodies reminded them that there was a reward for playing along and they made out like a bandit with their over-the-top, petty, silly, pretend ghost costume.
