Haloween Prompt Mansion woke up that Halloween night, ears swiveling. He'd been waiting all year for this day. It was his favorite holiday, and he'd been preparing. Dawning his plastic vampire teeth, his cat cloak and gathering his candy bucket, he ran out into the plaza, ready to trick-or-treat. He wanted all the candy ever, and he was going to do what he could to get it.

Haloween Prompt Entry!


Bush's had never been one for trick or treating. In fact, receiving a sweet treat sounded like rubbish to him. "who would choose sweet over savory?" He pondered the thought as he gathered a mountain of cylinders made of tin by the front door. With a proud smile, he stood in wonderment of the wobbling tower of OSHA violations he had made. He hurried to turn on his porch light, eager to hand out "what kids these days want the most," as he put it. As the door rang for the first time that night, he almost skipped right out of his can boot. The door swung open to reveal a few of the neighborhood kids dressed as their favorite characters. There was; deerdevil, Donald buck and even Katniss Everdeer. "What impressive costumes!" He flashed a smile as he dropped one cylinder in each of their bags. "What are these? The kids asked with puzzled looks on their faces. Bush's simply let out a deep chuckle before announcing in a proud, loud voice. "Why, they are beans of course!"

DB greatly enjoys Halloween. It's the one night where the deer can confidently strut around.
Many strangers stop DB and ask questions like 'Wow! How do you get that liquid flowing from various parts of you to look so.. Realistic?' or 'What dye did you use to get such a creepy zombie green?'
DB merely preens, saying it comes naturally.
The other deer, all costumed up, usuallynreact in awe and admiration of DB's 'skills' of transformation.
DB also enjoys candy and doesn't share their haul.
