Korongo Canyon – a stretched line of crumbled and cracked rocky cliffs, forming a maze of intertwining chasms with a few caves and valleys - used to be a common roadway between several local territories and a waterhole. Prey and predator alike used its convenient rocky passages as a safe shortcut to the water source, and it was mainly an unsettled wasteland until a lone hyena raider came to claim it for her own. The canyon may not be the most comfortable place to live in, given its eerie shadowed atmosphere and lack of open spaces for plants to grow in, but it’s a treasure for an opportunistic predator due to its strategic location and high animal traffic.
