living in agony . the eye comes from a virus that the parenting plants contract .
this virus affects the passing of genetic information , attacking different string of
dna . these genetic assaults are shown through the resulting venus fl - eye trap
offspring . they’re unable to eat . for about two weeks , they exponentially grow
off of the few nutrients they gain from the soil and whatnot
. . . but is it worth it ? through this duration , they starve until their nutritional
intake is unable to keep up with the size of their body — and they die . a creature

You wonder where the stall owner is... There is an ominous sound coming from somewhere deep in the alleyways. A twisting and groaning like wood being bent- crackling and splintering. Before you could think to inspect the source, a terrified bird barrels out of the alley and blasts past you in a flurry of feathers and wind! Must... have just been the bird- right???

(can't really get it right between the horns but I overlapped the one horn over the bird a little to create some layering- hope thats good enough!)

You manage to catch and soothe a terrified bird that's been flapping around the area! With enough coaxing, it perches behind the safety of your horns. A glowing light begins to spill from the alley, and, as you begin to peer your head around the corner, you see the stall owner prying open the maw of his chest with his massive claws and shoving strange items into it-- wait didn't you see those glasses from somewhere? What could he possibly be doing--

Vedaris stills. He has no eyes, but he knows someone is there. The chest snaps shut, the light fading all at once. You've seen something you shouldn't have! His claws curl around the handle of his chest and he lowers himself to the ground and slithers away with it dragging behind him, back into the shadows of the alleyways...
