Their strange friend stops the trio before they can depart. They press a strange machine into Inia's paws--a small handheld box with a glassy tube affixed to the front.
"You point it at things and it makes a copy of them on paper."
Inia's eyes grow wide. "W-whoa dude, are you sure you want to give us this?" She cradles it like a wermling skull, as if the breeze could shatter it.
"Borrow. I'm not giving it to you." The werm says flatly. "While you're out there, if you see any..." they raise their arms above their head, gesturing wildly. Inia guesses they mean the rib-like crystal structures. "Take a picture for me."
Inia agrees, carefully looping the device around her neck. "'Course! You rest up, alright?"
The werm nods once, staying behind. They watch the trio until they disappear into the dust's embrace.

Drizzle continued through the city ruins, keeping her eyes out for flashes of purple which may hint at where her friend was and may be. Oriane had said they'd be searching near where the two of them had found the relic, but they were nowhere to be found. Drizzle eventually came across a large building, one of the few that seemed mostly intact, peeking her head inside. It was pitch black apart from a few greenish light sources that seemed scattered around the building and, not quite knowing where else to look, she continued deeper inside, calling out Oriane's name.
