TruffleClan lives deep in the forest. There are plenty of trees and undergrowth. Moss grows plenty, making for warm beds. There are 2 known streams that run through the clan territory. The clan camp is in a big undergrowth of branches, moss, and rocks. The leader lives underneath the biggest rock, and uses the smooth top to give clan announcements. The deputy has their own den, close by the leaders. It is a small den in some brambles. The warriors and apprentices sleep closest to the entrance of the clan camp. They have separate dens, both made of branches and moss. The queens sleep closest to the back, near the leader. They have a soft den of leaves and moss, with branches for the shelter. The elders sleep between the apprentices and Queens. Their den made of brambles and moss.

The clan likes to eat on mice, small birds, and squirrels. Sometimes they get the rarer treats of rabbits, reptiles, and frogs. The warriors protect the clan from foxes, badgers, snakes, and coyotes. The bigger predators tend to leave them alone but sometimes they spot bears, wolves, deer, cougars, owls, and raccoons.

The common coat colors of the clan are shades of gray, brown, white and orange. Occasionally other coat colors emerge like Black and Tan.

The clan believes in star clan.

Oakstar visited the moonpool last month, when a folded ear cat arrived, asking to join his clan he was thrilled. Icefrost was welcomed with open paws into the clan. Moonriver instantly took a liking to the new she-cat. He began helping her in every way possible, showing her the territory, teaching her their hunting techniques, and just being a friend. Icefrost was amazed at the kindness of her new clanmate.

Oakstar himself had begun to develop a relationship with a cat. It had been a few moons since the beautiful Autumnsong had joined his slowly growing clan. The two had consulted and confided in each other a lot, As most medicine cats and leaders did. The pair had grown very close and Autumnsong praised starclan that the warrior code allowed for medicine cats to develop relationships and have kits, as long as they still preformed their duties.

Oakstar grew worried this past moon about their small numbers, there were no apprentices training to be warriors, no kits growing to become apprentices. He shhared his worries with Moonriver. The deputy assured his leader that their numbers would grow in time, but Oakstar couldn't shake the unease.

After Oakstar shared his unease with Moonriver he stumbled upon a she-cat on patrol. She was welcomed into the clan warmly. Moonriver was eager to have another clanmate and showed her around the territory with enthusiasm. He never once asked about her past, seeing that any mentions of it made the she cat uncomfortable.

Shortly after a mother and her kit arrived. Fern was her name when she came to the clan. The queen was moved into the nursery to raise her kit. Autumnsong grew close with the Queen as she helped out. Fern Shared that she had been a kitty pet, but when her kits were born her twolegs had abandoned her in the meadow. Oakstar watched as fern tried her very best to adapt to clan life and decided to give her a warrior name, fernstorm. Her solid white kit was named blizzard kit.

That very same moon, Moonriver and ice frost grew quite close.

I haven't quite decided when this will happen, but Cloudfeather is evil. Eventually I would like rolls for "accidents" but not quite yet. I want to develop this more.

Fernstorm had taken Blizzardkit out of camp, accompanied by Icefrost and Autumnsong. The three queens wanted to spend some time together since the pair had found out they were expecting kits. With this being the twos first litter each, they wanted to get all the knowledge from Fernstorm. The sun peered through the tree tops, warming all of them. Fernstorm was watching Blizzardkit dash around in the snow when she smelled something familiar. it couldn't be? Could it? The queen thought. She opened her mouth to taste the air. It was! She scooped up Blizzardkit and ran toward the scent. She could hear the other two queens following behind her. There, in a snow pile, was her kit! She set Blizzardkit down and started licking Pumpkinkit. The other queens had puzzled looks on their faces.
"This is my lost kit! Pumpkinkit!" She explained.
Autumnsong stepped forward. "Let's get Pumpkinkit back to camp." She picked up Blizzardkit and led them all back safely to camp.

While all the joys of a returned kit happened, Cloudfeather slunk out of camp. He didn't want to be around all the bustling queens as they awed over the tiny kit. He told himself that wouldn't have happened if he were leader. The large warrior found a warm rock to lay upon. He flicked his tail in annoyance. He should be leader, he told himself. At the very least, deputy. The tom knew Oakstar had all nine lives still, so he could realistically shoot for deputy. But how? He wondered. Cloudfeather pondered for a few moments. "I need to seem like I am the most loyal cat in the clan, that way I can take my rightful place." He finally declared. With that, he stopped back to camp.

Spiderweb was easily accepted into the clan. The big tom took immediately to caring for the queens. He checked on themall every morning, afternoon, and night. He became like the broodmother of the bunch. Fernstorm insisted she could take care of herself but Spiderweb kept coming around, and eventually she stopped protesting. The tom would sit there for hour watching the small kits tumble around.
Even with the queens who didn't have kits yet, he was constantly watching. If Icefrost made even one sound of discomfort he was right there, trying to find out what was wrong. She would always shake her head and say it was simply the cold weather. Spiderweb would look down and declare that one day he would find a way to make the coldness go away. Icefrost liked his company best, right off the bat. With her mate being deputy, he was very busy and couldn't be with her all of the time.
Autumnsong didn't mind having him check on her either. She was far too busy with her tasks to worry about food. So, whenever he brought her a piece of fresh-kill, she was grateful.

Snowwing had noticed the fluffy tom helping out with the queens. She brought him a piece of fresh-kill and nodded over to where the warriors ate. Spiderweb blinked gratefully at the young warrior. The pair padded over and Snowwing lay with her paws tucked under her body. Spiderweb lay with his legs stretched out. "You deserve a break." Snowwing mewled.
Spiderweb shook his head with a smile, "No, no. I enjoy helping the queens!" He playfully protested.
"Still," Snowwing went on. "You can come hangout with me anytime you'd like. Maybe we can patrol together sometime." Her tail tip flicked.

Autumnsong had grown tired. Carrying her kits while completing medicine cat duties was more work than she bargained for. She promised herself no more kits, at least until she had another medicine cat working under her.

Three cats joined the ranks this moon.

Cloudfeather was overjoyed to hear the news that Pare was pregnant with his kits. He did not want the other clan cats seeing him this way, so he went off on a boarder patrol, alone. Maybe he could clear his head while looking for intruders or potential cats to join the clan. If he was the first cat they met, he could shape them into tough warriors.
As much as he hated letting his mind wander, he drifted into daydreams about his future kits. For one, he was glad Pare was not in the clan. She could have just as much influence on them as he could and that could lead to be a problem. For second, The kits would have three suitable cats to nurse them, until they could be apprenticed. For third, he thought of the heirs. These kits could provide him an easy win to take the clan leadership. He decided to wait to tell the clan about his upcoming kits, until the kitting was closer.

Autumnsong knew her and Icefrost's kits would be arriving any day now. When Moonriver came to bring fresh-kill, the young medicine cat informed him to bring a stick for each of them when the time came for the queens to kit. Moonriver knew he could do that, but told her he was no medicine cat and would not be able to do anymore for them. He looked sad at being so unhelpful, but was glad the clan allowed their medicine cat freedom to choose to have a family.
The medicine cat had already discussed with Icefrost, who agreed to nurse her kits or watch them, if Autumnsong needed to treat any injuries. Ferstorm had chimed in during their conversation and also offered to help, after all, a queens duty is to watch and care for kits, even those that are not her blood.

Snowwing had kept an eye on Spiderweb. She seemed to have grown quite smitten with the young warrior. The she-cat wasn't even bothered by him looking after the queens, if that's what he felt like his place was, then she respected that, even admired him for it. Spiderweb, although not usually catching onto hints, could tell. I mean, she wasn't being the most hidden cat about it. Snowwing purred when she saw him, her eyes grew bright and she smiled. "Off to see the queens? We can go hunting together later if you'd like! We could use some more fresh-kill!"
Spiderweb smiled and focused his attention on her. "Yep! They need constant care these days. Two litters on the way with one already here!" He stopped and touched noses with the she-cat. "Let's definitly go hunting together later."
