prompt: what's your kalon's excuse for forgetting a friend's birthday?
Zia Lynch - "ahh there is no excuse! I shall make up for it with lots of cake!!"
Lenny Lynch - He wouldn't forget a birthday as they are all recorded on his computer and give him alerts. If he had forgotten a birthday he would play it off as though he totally remembered and was just waiting for dramatic affect.
Nelson Blakely - You'd be lucky if he cared enough about you to remember your name let alone your birthday. He does habitually forget birthdays tho.
Solitaire Pitch - She has a calculating, sharp mind so she probably wouldn't forget a birthday of a friend.
Orube Hoho - She wouldn't forget another persons birthday but if she had she would be very apologetic.
Samantha Rain - "I am so so so sorry! It just slipped my mind!"
Terry Kingsford - "Lets go make it up right now! Foods on me!"
Ruby Doherty - She always remembers everybody's birth-dates as it contributes to their astronomical attitudes.
Kress Doherty - "Birthdays are pointless"

Val - He has a hard time remembering his own birthday, let alone someone else's. His excuse when he forgets another Kalon's birthday is that he was really busy, and it just slipped his mind. This is never a lie, since he devotes most of his time to work in one form or another. Even when he does forget a birthday, he's sure to make up for it. After all, a gift is still a gift even if it's late.

Remus - Remus never forgets birthdays, ever. He's way too organized to forget anything. Every significant date he needs to remember, including birthdays, is written down in his planner. The only way he'd forget something is if he lost his planner (he doesn't even want to think of that happening), or if for some reason he never took note of the date in his planner in the first place. Still, he hasn't forgotten a birthday yet, and he doesn't want to lose his winning streak yet.

Jax - He's only forgotten birthdays a handful of times, and every single time he's felt horrible about it. He blames it on his terrible memory. Jax isn't lying when he says that he'd forget his head if it weren't attached to his neck. Normally, birthdays are talked about in advance, and that gives Jax a friendly reminder about them, but sometimes a birthday isn't brought up until the day of. That's usually when Jax forgets about them.

Vinny - So far, Vinny has never forgotten one of her friends' birthdays. Whenever one of their birthdays are coming up they talk about it so much that it's impossible not to remember. If Vinny ever did forget a birthday though, her excuse would either be that she was busy and she just forgot, or that other things came up on the same date. Her friends are very chill, so they'd understand and wouldn't be mad over it.

Incarse's doesn't really have a family, but his gf is the closest thing he has right now and he loves her, so he'd have to say her.

Gil loves his parents, but there's a special kinda bond between him and his adopted son Carver.

Carver's is definitely his adopted dad! He loves Gil a whole lot, not to mention that he's the only member of his family right now.

Nat loves both of his parents dearly! He could never choose between them, they both mean a lot to him.

My favorite family member? Definitely my mom. I never met my dad, and I don't have any siblings. I have a few aunts, uncles, and cousins who all live in this town, but of everyone I'm closest to my mom. I mean, it only makes sense.

Who's your kalon's favorite family member?

Morgan - If asked he'd probably snap "NONE OF THEM", but he did have one very distant cousin who visited every now and then as a child he was rather fond of. They weren't around often, and it wasn't like they clicked perfectly, but it was nice having another kid around who was equally aware of how nuts the rest of their family was, and who was content to just walk around the grounds with him. He hasn't been able to find them in years, and does wish he could get in contact with them again.

Gabriel - His adoptive father/the man who trained him in the ways of a knight. The man saved him from near certain death on the side of the road in a storm, and raised him better than he could have ever hoped for, showing him love, compassion, and giving him a chance at a wonderful life. He's forever grateful, and loves him like a father, just as much as he loved Gabriel like his own son.

Dante - Dante loves all of his family, and he would probably panic a bit if asked to pick one member of his family in particular. If his paw was really forced he'd probably pick his mom, as she was the one who worked her tail off to raise him and his siblings, encouraged his dreams, and has generally been a wonderful supportive person his whole life.

Well, not counting his son, he's say his adoptive mother and farther. If he were to pick one probably his farther, he was such a huge inspiration for him and his rock.

I like some of my cousins (human) and my dad most. : )
