the hallows eve

once a year, when the leaves in the city begin to dull and orange and fall, beardogs from all over congregate in city's central park to celebrate a half month of festivities. none alive can remember why this started, or the importance of it to the furless that had introduced it to their world, but theres nary a soul that truly cares. it's a time for candy and scary costumes and occasionally-- just occasionally-- for beardogs from beyond the void to show their faces; to find friends and a den and a place to call home...

event rules

- this event will run from the october 16th to october 30th with an extra 3 days to spend tokens before all avenues are closed; except a token > meat turnin system.

- all beardogs from this event-- both here and on discord-- are free and will be a mix of raffle and prompt based.

- you may only win one beardog from any single "litter" before you cannot obtain another from that litter or base lines. you may enter and win from as many litters as you like providing each beardog you win isn't on the same base lines

- keep all threads topical; do not post forms in the wrong threads.

- always use the correct forms. example: if your form for a raffle does not have the correct codeword for that specific raffle, your entry will be skipped.

- do not edit any forms containing the purchase of items or tokens; if a post containing an item purchase, token claim, or token purchase are edited they will be disqualified entirely. you may edit forms for prompts or color-ins.

- always double check the end date for competitions or raffles; we are not liable for you missing anything you are interested in.

Gidget beams at you and slaps the edge of the now-empty pumpkin shaped bucket of candy. "You guys really cleared it all out, huh? Welp... head on over to the main tent. I heard they got something cool for you to trade the candy in for. Or... go to Sailor, I guess. Not that he'll be any happy to see you.

The City has set up a large Bucket of Candy to take some for free everyday.
Today you're eligible to take 10 handfuls of candy. (Oct 30th The Final Day)

spooky crate
inside the main tent is a world of darkness. only one light source remains, a few dim, flickering candles in the very center of the room. they illuminate a large wooden crate, held down by heavy iron chains. there is no staff to be seen (not that you could see that far in the dark anyhow) but you do spy a little wooden sign barely visible beside the crate.

"Reach a paw in and test your fate, if you dare."



rules:
- you may attempt the crate 5 times per post.
- 1 hour must have elapsed from when you received your last result before you can post again.
- the crate contains 18 items/companions.
- each crate roll will guarantee you minimum 2 items/companions.
- you can buy crate tickets ahead of time, which allow you to stockpile crates for opening later. these cannot be traded. as of november 5th you can no longer buy crates or crate tickets; only open them

Design A Planet
end date: 30th October



Rules:
- You have until 30th October to complete the required prompt. This includes all of the day of 30th; the competition will end on CS rollover to the 31st.
- The competition will close but the winners will not be announced until the judging has finished. Each winner will have a beardog designed after their entry.
- You can color in the planet provided OR if you are not art inclined, you may write about a planet design. Try to include as much detail as possible if you're writing; including a color palette of some manner.
- You may edit the lines as much as you want and include anything extra like clouds/background stars etc.
- Your entry does not need to be high tier ultra high quality but it must display some semblance of effort to the best of your own individual ability. If you require help with the image; please contact me in the #event-discussion thread on discord.
