Hello Captain. We managed to climb one one the mountains in about four days. We have discovered a species of cat, and it is quite large. This female happened to be friendly, so we thought they would all be friendly. We were so wrong! She was a bit hesitant at first, but she let us clean her wounds after this picture. We realized there would defiantly be another animal, possibly more dangerous. She was attacked by something with two claws, not four. She followed us around while we hiked, and that's when we met another cat. The one following us tried to defend us, but soon hid in a cave that we couldn't squeeze into. We managed to scare it off with loud noises. We will be more careful now. Again, I look forward to the rest of the month.
