Yup. The weather in Georgia is weird.
We thought it was spring a few weeks ago. Then it was winter again. Right now it's spring, but for how long?

And it never snows. NOPE. NEVER.
We were SO close to having snow. And we usually don't even come close! School was canceled and everything. ALL WE HAD WAS ICE. And wind.
That happened twice. And school was canceled again. Nope. But the roads were too ICY to go anywhere, anyways.

So this was my first snow day. And probably my last. Because I'll be graduated by the time we get another (in about ten years).

Lucky. Pittsburgh, PA had a major salt shortage this winter. We had about maybe 3 ft of snow all at the same time in our yard. There was a lot of snow and ice. We now have one day for Easter vacation and almost all our vacation days were filled with the horror of the school day.

The same dumb things happened in Virginia! Except, we (luckily) got more snow than ice. We got half an inch of snow middle of January and school was canceled for three days, that's how bad people handle it around here.

And then, last week's Sunday was gorgeous. We went to church in short sleeves and skirts and were perfectly happy and warm. The next day? Three, four inches of snow, and we're stuck at home for another two days. Now, today, a week later, it's so warm out that we need air conditioning.

Southeast coast US is so weird. I swear, mother nature must be bipolar.

@frostykitty, I heard about that! McKeesport was the place we heard more about, but it's close enough to Pittsburg, so I suppose I'm not surprised something similar happened there. I've got family who live in PA still, and my grandparents used to live in Monroeville (thankfully, Grandma's been down here with us instead of up there). Stinks about the vacation, though! Only one day?! That's terrible! We've lost our one day adjacent to Easter, but still have a week long break a week or two before that.
