It's so cute! I love how his hooves are fluffy and he's carrying the lantern by his horn. It reminds me of the shire i ride at my stabled and he nudged every one :3

Yes! I sketched with a pen and then laid my rough colors with the watercolor tool. When I started refining things I did so with smaller watercolors, different sized pens and the eyedropper. That's all I've really used so far! I tried the smudge and blend a couple times but they didn't work in the way I wanted, so I left 'em alone.
