'Cause Tempest has returned~! This epic guy used to be my fursona, but is now a dear character of mine, as well as his sister, Stardust. I decided to draw him because I haven't drawn him in a while (nor his sister, but I plan to change that soon), and he needed a re-vamp.
Yes, he's been re-desgined, but with the same colors he had originally (other than the wings, which used to be bronze). In addition, he no longer has a mane, but just a forehead tuft that is slightly longer than his original. His new design is much more simple, and more 'serious' than his last. He's one of the only male characters I own, and one of the darkest (in color and personality).
I'm very proud of how this turned out, especially the wings (which I had to redo in a few places several times... ah, feathers) and shading. I also think his new design suits him much better rather than the large amount of multicolored swirls he had everywhere. He still has a few swirls because I love swirly-designs, and the new ones are much less obvious and more suited to his hidden personality.
