being as indifferent towards the age of fire as he is, aphyos is able to hide in the shadows as others fall. though sorrow momentarily strikes his heart, the shadow dragon chooses to stay out of such a fierce war. he fears the dragons will try to fight fire with fire, though there isn't much else they can do. nevertheless, aphyos uses his shadow dragon instincts and skills to creep into the shadows to survive. aphyos rarely shows himself to other creatures including his own species. he is no passive, for he will be aggressive when approached. being that he was the shunned male of his clutch, aphyos' instincts have enhanced to make him hide and overly defensive. his past, present, and future are all his and he keeps them all away from others. guarded and bottled up, aphyos is a spit fire when enraged, and was known for destroying full towns as an adolescent. in battle, aphyos can be blind and may only protect himself or few others; this is a result of his enhanced instincts, he isn't heartless. though stoic, this shadow dragon is capable of kindness and showing a fondness towards others. this is a trait his younger self could not handle, but after being alone so long, aphyos realized he should not pass an opportunity to make relationships up. that being said, he has never really had many opportunities, being that he does stay in his own space. but, if he does manage to make allies, his allies will have to be patient with him, for it will take him quite some time to adapt to a life with others. he may show up as awkward and/or unpleasant, but some day he will grow fond of being accompanied.

with large, long wings pointing from his lean back, this dragon stands tall but not very proud. his face is long, pointed, and caressed by feathery horns that reach even his slender neck. being that he is a new adult (around mid twenties to thirties if human,) aphyos' horns count up to around ten, nothing compared to an elder dragons'. scars lace the shadow dragon, with a particular large one one his left eye. his left eye was harmed the most during his brother's and his fight as hatchlings, which resulted in a vision just a level away from blindness. his eyes, both clear grey, contrast drastically from his charcoal and dirt brown scales. (i never did such a sucky description ugh; the link under his fontmeme name is the full version of his image which shows his whole body.)

the many flaws this girl has are extreme, but do not keep others away from her. despite carver's constant sarcasm and blunt humor, she is capable of creating allies withing minutes. rather than pushing people away like most of her race, she lets all creatures be in her presence with an indifferent attitude towards their relationship. carver is also known for her loud pride and out spoken personality; most of the times she lets her pride get the best of her and becomes the victim of a dangerous situation. add those traits with an incredible lack of hesitation and you get carver emerson, who jumps into fights with just her bruised hands. she is reckless, defiant, and someone of high class would spit on. but, she is also capable of some good. her determination, as well as her passionate emotions, are just two positive traits she possesses. something that makes her more approachable is her humor and constant talking; her puns are so stupid they make you choke on your own spit, and her comebacks are as on point as her sarcasm. as well as having a funny bone, carver is very courageous. she will not back down unless she hits her breaking point, which is far far away. her friends are also extremely important to her, and she will stand with them through a life of thick. carver has earned her place as the dragons' prisoner, for she was born and raised to hunt dragons. being expose to their vicious nature only, carver has never felt sympathy towards the creatures. this is because she was raised to believe dragons are vile beasts ready to kill her race unless captured. to maintain this mindset for the girl, carver was forbidden from seeing the process of "training" the dragons. all carver knows is the blood thirsty (or actually the desperate to be free) dragons, and will not be able to let those images go for a long time.

carver stands at five foot six inches tall and weighs a little over one hundred and twenty pounds. her attire is usually made of loose tops, some sort of thick jacket, tight pants, and combat boots or mud boots. most of her clothes have tears and as worn down, just the way she likes them. her hair is many shades of light brown and kept no longer than on her shoulders. carver has long legs that help her run but she isn't fast enough to out run non-humans, so she must rely on her diversion skills. on her waist is a loose, thick combat belt that holds a pocket knife, her dagger, the trusted whip, and any other appliances she may decide to bring. her skin is milky pale and lips are a light shade of pink (usually chapped.) scars wrap her stomach and thighs as well as a few on the arms and legs. a large one runs from middle toe to the underside of her knee.
