PERSONALITY! as first impressions go, thatcher emanates an aura of self-importance when he finds himself in social settings, having a keen attention to detail in both his appearance and articulation. possessing an innate talent for navigating even the most intricate affairs with a great deal of discipline, grace and when it’s needed, sensitivity. demonstrating a formidable diplomatic reputation, and more often holding a tone that soothes amidst the endless seas of brash voices, which now encircles the male with an air of mutual respect between himself and his surviving peers.

however, those who surround themselves with thatcher would say his most admirable attribute is the unmatched patience he harbours towards others, serving as a beacon of faith to those who may feel disheartened by their afflictions, encouraging them to try and try again. thatcher understands that the life the dogs now must lead is still akin to a game of chess, where every move counts and the consequences are far more dangerous than they ever were. he finds comfort in the idea of patience and perseverance throughout day-to-day survival and thus he will wait until for the opportune moment, calculating the possible outcomes and risks miles beforehand.

the male may have found himself on a commendable pedestal however, he is not flawless, nor always the “saint” others paint him out to be. alongside his diplomatic approach, he entwines an uncontrollable tendency to withhold information that may tip the scales of balance either way during talks between his higher-ranking peers. it doesn’t appear to be done with malicious intent, however, thatcher’s nature to dissect every scenario possible has led him to become immensely hesitant to share his knowledge in fear of the possible aftermath it may bring.

although the beta favours the comfort of peacekeeping tactics over sheer violence, he does find that a little confrontation doesn’t always hurt. regardless of the instigator and dependent on the situation, thatcher knows that public humiliation isn’t the way, but if the hardships call for it and all else fails, he wouldn’t have much of an issue putting those, in need, back in their place. away from his duties he holds a rather hesitant exterior and is careful about whom he speaks to candidly about his thoughts and feelings, stemming from those secretive tendencies of his. however, those who know him from a truly raw perspective can attest to his worth amid the flaws.

PERSONALITY! one point church seems to enjoy making upon first impressions is that he’ll shatter your concept of the stereotypical “faithful” healer. in fact, he’d undoubtedly be the one to break every bone in your body all the while naming them. he acknowledges he is far from role-model material and with growing up amongst human minds of science, it’s enabled the tamaskan to position himself upon pillars of a cut-throat, no nonsense angle; following a strict “do as i say, not as i do” mentality when it comes to his responsibilities. his methods are certainly tipped more on the unorthodox side of the scale, but in the remnants of the fallout who's to really say where the line is to be crossed.

church isn’t necessarily impatient, however it seems that not being able to press his buttons is no easy feat.. although these outbursts are far and few between- one could being to imagine the slithers of cantankerous aggression the male might harbour if they tread upon too many nerves. especially when church acts upon unpredictability. intelligence is something the male prides himself on, carrying the ability to not only critically think on his feet, but to also observantly process his thoughts. navigating between the constant wave of responsibilities he finds himself silently concerned with and getting some sort of oddly satisfying kick out of seeing those around him squirm in his silence. one may envision the hypothetical cogs ticking behind his eyes, providing initiative outside of the fabled so-called box..truly a mind for the likes of weaponising in favour against thy enemies.

as lasting impressions go, church holds himself upon n incredibly earnest pedestal, comprehending the world and what it has become of recently, wearing nothing more than fictionalised barbed wire crowns becoming somewhat of "a fallout tyrant" in the making. amidst the tamaskans ruffled danish accent holds cryptic ambience commonly seen sleuthing near shadowed alleyways or at far distances along the barren road. he may seem to like the idea indulging in solitude due to his quiet nature, however he doesn't appear to cope well when left alone for tremendous amounts of time. as a matter of fact, church is the type to enjoy company, even if there is no conversation present - simply the presence of others is what he claims to be his safe space, keeping his mind from flying off the rails more than he'd like to admit.. after the explosion, he realised that his deepest worry wasn't survival, it was being forever alone. beneath it all, a total love bug.

HISTORY! being adopted by a lovely and much older research scientist in the østerbro district of copenhagen, denmark. church was always shown nothing but kindness from his owner, which believe it or not, allowed him to develop into a rather loving soul. with his owner working as a shadow behind some of the world's leading scientists within postglacial vegetation and ecosystems, he was always surrounded by plants and herbs alike. several years into their research, they made a sudden breakthrough which his owner was contacted about basing the remaining time of the research at the nearest arctic station: ny-ålesund, in norway. church’s owner had come to a dilemma, he was still a rather young dog however, the position at the research station was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and it couldn’t be passed up so easily.. his owner thought of every “road” they could go down to allow them to bring church along and fortunately, because of his breed and his young age, they agreed to give him the necessary training to become a guard dog of sorts for the arctic research station.

several years flew by and church provided the team at the station with more than enough protection to serve two lifetimes. with the research coming to an end and earning the offer to be published upon public record, churchs’ owner was invited to tag along to the governing summit, which was being held in san francisco. they saw this as another opportunity to stay a little longer to make a holiday out of it. who knows would be the next time they’d be able to visit the united states. and so, two weeks before the summit both church and his owner were on their way to find themselves touring the californian city life.

days before the summit was being held and the unthinkable happened.. during the blast, churchs’ owner wasn’t able to get out of the city quick enough with him. the sounds of what would be the last moments exchanged between the pair shrouded the once loving soul into a devastated mess. there was no way for church to help his owner recover from the extent of their injuries and within hours, silence clouded them. within the first week or so, the tamaskan grew to blend in with the environment; becoming rough around the edges. it wasn’t until a few weeks later that he heard whispers about a pack amidst the fallout. a slither of hope for church to find the last of humanity amongst his fellow canines.. as elusive as the fog, it took church a short while for him to bump into another who was a part of said pack. from there he joined their ranks and found himself taking on one of the theta positions.

upon first glance she looks to be a well put together
dog.though feeble nowadays, she still carries a strong
sense of elegance. consistent and steadfast in her
opinions and beliefs, persephone can be a stubborn old
lady if perfectly set off or challenged. this stubborn side
can come as a shock when she's perfectly tested. despite
her now mellow nature, as a young dog she was often the
first to put another in their place and could have a short
fuse. though she's far from malicious, persephone is more
often than not- unforgiving to those who have truly done
her wrong. while she isn't senile quite yet she can often
be seen as spacey and on the other side of things, over
reacting when stressed or facing major change. to those
she trusts, persephone is kind and helps where she can.
if you stay on her good side you'll be just fine. though
not as straight forward now that she's older, newcomers
are often intimidated by her searching eyes, watching
for any signs that she may need to prepare to take the
reigns. it's not often that she angers, but it always comes
as an awakening to those who know her as the nice old
girl who takes every pup under her wing.usually the pack
can get her out of this mindset, sending her back to her
tasks and assuring her they have things handled. despite
her odd set of traits, shes greatly valued for her opinions
and respected among all. she is always looking for
chances to console others when they are in need. a
source of comfort to all, she is a good member of
the pack and though persephone has plenty to share, both
in knowledge and experience, she tries her best to only
provide insight when requested. not butting in where

because of his feisty nature, many don't dare to cross
him. though rather harmless to friends, family and
pack members, if he doesn't know you his immediate
response is to be hostile and on guard. twister has
walls that he refuses to let anyone break down,
unfortunately knowing from past experience that
he can get betrayed or have his heart broken in the
blink of an eye. his hard exterior is impossible to
break through without immense patience and a strong
will to have him open up. this lack of hesitance to
take hold of any dog causing a threat is what makes
him a great fit for the kappa role. though he isn't
naturally vicious, if he's pissed off or threatened his
compassion and humanity doesn't often get in the way
of doing what needs to be done. twister has very little
tolerance for those trying to get in his way and values
his own survival instincts above all else. with a focus
on self preservation, he won't hesitate to do what
he has to do to keep himself alive. he's so protective
of himself, his body, his heart especially... that he
doesn't take time to make deep connections with
others. sure, he has care for those that he's compatible
with, but its only surface level. if it came down to his
life or theirs, you better believe he's saving himself.
despite this individualism and what some would even call
selfishness, hes loyal to the pack and very protective over
territory he resides in. twister doesn't give his resources
freely. guarding his own den, pack territory, and the alpha
wherever he's needed. not a dog who likes to share. he
can admittedly seem a little moody at times, but it's rare
that he gets caught up in social drama and worries about
relations within the pack. a loner all his life, he likely
would have left the pack if not given a high rank where
he could take charge of things and do what he does best.

this world is difficult for this young dog, to say the least. it seems
everything he comes across socially is a major challenge for him.
there's often two sides you can find in banshee. he's often high
strung no matter who he's with and with so much energy you'd
think he's bouncing off the walls without a care in the world.
that can be true occasionally, but more often his energy manifests
into frantic behavior and immense anxiety. this is a demeanor that throws
most, if not all dogs off. he can seem like an odd ball to anyone that
meets him. when around one or two trusted friends he is boisterous
and talkative. even playful. those with enough patience
to earn his trust enjoy his fun-loving nature and those he does
trust will absolutely know it. he's a completely different dog
in those scenarios... but the second someone he's afraid of enters
the picture his energy shifts. banshee can seem almost performative
at times, doing his absolute best to stay on the good side of everyone.
giving endless praise to those who scare him, to stay on their good side.
he would never speak anything negative aloud for fear of his safety. his
instincts keep him safe, but are always working in overtime. causing him
to see a possibility of pain and death in any complication. his behavior
unpredictable in its quickly changing nature and doing whatever he can
to avoid conflict. often carrying negative energy, he finds it hard to sit still in
any situation. even around his friends. banshee is fidgety, often speaking
so quickly that barely anyone can understand his ramblings when he has
something on his mind. banshee does have his uses, when he's alone he
finds outlets for his pent up energy and is an excellent bird dog. a skilled
swimmer, and an incredible tracker. if he needs to help others, he is
sensible enough to recognize his tuned instincts can be of benefit.
the pack could use his skills with some pushing. he does like company
and despite his fearfulness, he is oddly sociable once he's scoped
you out. although nervous for his safety around the more gruff dogs
in the pack, he oddly is more likely to get in their space and
unintentionally bother them in an attempt to become liked by them
than just simply avoiding them. if he can become a friend to
all, he figures he'll be protected by those even he finds intimidating.
although his fear drives most of his actions, others can find him
weirdly extroverted at times because of this need of survival.

aptly named for her angelic appearance, and even personality.
she looks as pure as snow, and like the comforting face you'd
see before being lead over the rainbow bridge. she's quite the
lovebug, and couldn't in her wildest dreams be cruel. unlike
any other dog, she severely lacks survival instincts. they just
aren't all there. without the pack she wouldn't have much longer
on this earth. hunting small, helpless animals breaks her heart
and she'd rather starve than hurt another being. some dogs see
her as fictitious, putting on this act of a holy demeanor to seem
better than the rest. though she may seem self-righteous, more
often than not... she really does feel a deep sense of pity for
others, and brings it upon her self to hand out comforting words
where she's welcome to do so. when she isn't acting as charity
worker, she's quite the adventurous and playful girl if she finds
a steadfast friend. heaven believes in endless chances, given in
tenfold without first questioning intent. it's hard for her to
believe some have bad intentions, and that "bad dog" isn't
just a made up phrase. a little stuck in her own perfect world,
she can seem unbothered and oblivious to the more major
problems going on around her. heaven is a compassionate soul,
and often looking for deeper connections, avoiding small talk
wherever she can and is admittedly on a constant look out for
a compatible suitor, a best friend, anyone who will stick by her
side and allow her to dote over them for the rest of time. she's
a caregiver through and through, an empath and someone who
feels emotions deeper than anyone you'll ever meet. making her
quite sensitive when it comes to even small social affairs and
drama among other dogs. she wants to be liked by all, though
it's an impossible feat. knowing that someone openly dislikes
her or even personally hates her would be devastating for this
young dog. she is occasionally illogical, especially if the choice
that puts her in danger is the same choice that will do another
good. any negative words shared with her weigh heavy on her
heart and finds shes often looking to others to open up to and
be comforted by when things go badly.
