hornpaw is a strong tom, one who has opinions and is not afraid of making them known to others.
he tries not to do it in a disrespectful way, but at times his emotions get the best of him and he
can snap without thinking. honestly he just wants to learn all that he can and prove his worth,
but sometimes he can come across as overly-confident or even cocky to other cats. he's really
not arrogant though; underneath that tough guy exterior he's insecure about ever achieving the
standards set by his father.

honestly, his parents were both too young and naive to have kits at their age. turtlestep and
ravenwhisper were only sixteen moons, barely being made warriors, when ravenwhisper fell
pregnant and the pair became mates. neither of them had both of their parents growing up
to raise them, so they didnt know how to be healthy parents to little hornpaw and his sister
mousepaw when they were born. unlike his sister, who took their parents way of upbringing
too personally/to heart, he decided to succeed as much as he could, to thrive in an attempt
to spite his parents turtlestep was killed a few moons ago by a random hunting accident, and
ravenwhisper left the clan shortly after for a fresh start, abandoning her kits to themselves.
unlike his sister, he is completely content to never have to deal with his parents again.

History: She is born in a clan with two siblings Softpaw and Ravenkit. Thought her Brother Ravenkit died before getting his apprentice's name and Softpaw followed shortly after, only a moon before getting her apprentice's name. She was being never close with her father Cedarstorm and the tom never showed any interest toward them either.

Her apprenticeship was pretty normal. When she was 10 moons old her mother died Of cancer and soon after she found out that she had a half siblings loner named Flare from her father's side. As a reckless apprentice, she was very curious to meet her so-called forbidden sister and left the clan with her closest friend Ratpaw. Her half-sister actually came with them to the clan.

Later on, she found love with Rootcloud, but they never became mates because he got killed by a fox. His dead was too shocking to her that she was depressed badly, and for a short time, she lost her interest in life. Thought after some moons she gets back to her feet.

History:He has a pretty normal kitty hood in the clan, he has three siblings. He is being close friends with Goldenpoppy because his parents were friends with her mother. He had a kit crush on his friend, but they stayed as a friend, nothing more.

His apprenticeship was not the easiest because he did have three mentors in a very short time. The first died By blood poisoning only two moons after, the second was a careless one who didn't even want to train him and he mostly learn by training with other apprentices. His mentor changed again when he was 10 moons old because the leader noticed that his former mentor didn't take the job seriously.

He was chosen to be a deputy at the age of 50 moons and was serving the leader for a few more moons before old age took the leader out. He was always known to be a kind leader, but his mood changed for worst to the last a few moons ago, with a reason only the medicine cat knows. Yes, he has serious brain cancer and his seven life may not save him from the lurking dead.
Name meaning: Rat because of his skinny rat-like tail, nose because of his dark-colored face mask.

History:She is born as a half-barn cat, close to two legs, but is never too close to them. Her mother was a barn cat and her mother birth them into a barn where she raised them too. She never meets her father but heard about him from her mother. After meeting her half-sister Goldenpoppy, she decided to go and eventually join the clan. Her life inside the clan was not easy, because the clan cats didn't trust her.

personality sablethroat is a dedicated and ambitious young warrior who cares a lot about his duties. he's steadfast and dependable; if a cat is needed for a patrol, he won't ever hesitate to jump in. he's very friendly and loves to socialize, always seemingly having a ton of energy. hunting is his favorite activity, especially when it's with his clanmates. sometimes he's a bit too persistent for others' tastes, which unintentionally makes him look like a showoff or brown-noser; in reality, he just wants to fit in with the other warriors. he can often be extremely insecure of his loner past, but tries to put it behind him.
history sablethroat was born a loner named sable. he was an independent kit who would often get lost. his siblings were homebodies, so his wandering always set him apart from them. he was also set apart in one other big way: he was born a she-cat, but always knew he was a tom. sablethroat's mother tried her best to support him, but he knew deep down that this had driven a permanent wedge between himself and his family. he then wandered off one last time, for good, as a result of this. he eventually stepped into fernclan territory after moons of aimless ambling; now nine moons old, the clan took him in and made him an apprentice. due to his preexisting skills he was able to become a warrior in five moons instead of six, with the bulk of his training consisting of assimilating into clan life. no cat has ever questioned sablethroat's gender, and he's even able to take on the role of a foster father. his former mate, nettlestrike, had been mates with another tom, shaletooth; the latter passed before blazepaw and berrypaw were born, and sablethroat decided to step in for him hoping that this would preserve his stealth status. now that nettlestrike has also passed, however, he's become worried for his future all over again. even so, he's still managed to remain in tune with his aspirations, having successfully mentored two apprentices so far. now, he hopes to become deputy someday.

personality blazepaw is a bit of a terror, to say the absolute least. she's an arrogant she-cat known by her clanmates for her speed in both hunting and combat. she can be very loud and boisterous, and is oftentimes that token apprentice responsible for all the drama and gossip between clan members, whether it be real or entirely fabricated. her cocky, two-faced nature makes her both a very popular and very unpopular cat to be around. blazepaw is an alluring figure renowned for being a flirt, and a good one at that. sassy, spunky, and sharp-tongued, she's that one cat you love to hate and hate to love.
history blazepaw was born to nettlestrike and shaletooth but another tom, sablethroat, stepped in as her foster father before she was even born. blazepaw never got to meet her actual father, shaletooth, as he'd died from an infection, but has heard a few stories about him here and there. a total braggart, apparently, meaning the apple didn't fall far from the tree at all. blazepaw doesn't mind sablethroat, but wishes she had met the tom she allegedly takes after so much. blazepaw also wishes her mom lived longer, but feels thankful that even though both of her biological parents have passed on, she still somehow has a dad. but with having a foster father comes being incredibly spoiled, and the effects of that have become all too apparent during her apprentice years. though sablethroat scolds her for being a gossip and an egotist, she doesn't listen, playing the angel in his presence and becoming a complete devil once his back is turned. someone's got to knock this she-cat down a few pegs!

personality teaseltail is a bubbly young she-cat with a lot of energy. though not at all aspiring to obtain a higher rank, she's still determined to be a great warrior and put her best paw forward in everything she does for her clan. she loves hunting and climbing trees, as well as a nice swim at the arching rill every so often. but while teaseltail thoroughly enjoys her warrior duties, she's always wanted to be a mother, and she already possesses a prevalent maternal instinct when it comes to the apprentices of fernclan. she's the type of she-cat to fall in love at first sight, and she truly believes that one of her fellow warriors is her prince charming. all she hopes is that he'll reveal himself someday, swoop her off her paws, and that they'll live happily ever after. this all said, teaseltail is very gullible and easy to manipulate, making her vulnerable to any tom with ulterior motives. she's already had her heart broken once before -- back when she was a very young warrior -- and it's led her to develop some trust issues.
history though unknown to her, teaseltail comes from kittypet ancestry. this might explain her soft, bright-hued fur, as well as her markedly unique eye color. her grandfather was a housecat named archie, and he fell in love with a loner named willow who would drop in at the fence of his twolegs' nest every night initially to heckle him. willow was aware of the existence of fernclan -- she was a former member herself, once being named willowclaw -- and when she had archie's two kits, they both agreed that they belonged in a clan setting where they could be better supported. willow brought them to the border and a patrol begrudgingly took them in, naming them minkkit and troutkit. though troutkit died in infancy, minkkit grew up to become a warrior named minkwhisker. she and her mate, tigertail, gave birth to just one kit: teaselkit. teaseltail had an average kit- and apprentice-hood, though by the end of her apprenticeship she had fallen in love with her mentor, a tom named frogleap who was only nine moons her senior. the two were mates soon after teseltail became a warrior, but before she could become pregnant with his kits he vanished from the clan without a trace. within the same moon, she also lost both of her parents to the sickness. these two events scarred her deeply, and now she fears being close with anyone out of fear of losing them. still, she dreams of a future where she can find a tom that won't prematurely leave her, and create a new family of her own to fill the secret void in her heart.

( Description ) Shay is a rare calico male cat, his pelt being mostly black but with the odd splash of white or orange across him, he has deep brown eyes and an easily identifible scar going down his right eye from a fight.
( Who he is) Shay's past is a lot of the reason why he's the cat he is today, born into a semi large group of cats, he felt at home, being loved by his parents and the group he now belonged to. But after a while, the leader of said group started to act strange, and to create an almost cult like atmosphere that Shay didn't agree with, he brought it up in front of the rest of the group, but it wasn't received by common thoughts, but rather that he was going against the ideas of the group and that he was a traitor to them all, even his parents and childhood friends suddenly turning on him. With nowhere left to go, Shay fled the group, not before earning the scar that now adorns his face. Due this experience, Shay is now more of a solitary cat, keeping to himself where he can and trying not to get in the way of others. He constantly feels as so he doesn't fit into any group that he tries to join which in turn makes him into quite a sad cat who often is seen with a rather melancholy look upon his face. But if he was given the right environment he could flourish and the tough exterior that he has built up could crack and show through that in reality he's just a big softie.

( Description ) Rustpaw is a darker orange tabby almost a rust coloured red from which he gets his name from. He has stripes going down his body due to his tabby coat colouring as well as splashes of lighter coloured orange/red here and there. He is also missing his left leg at the elbow joint as a well as various scars such as one across the bridge of his nose and his legs as well as a nick in his left ear.
( Who he is) Rustpaw was a kitten that was found on the edge of the territory, mewling and squealing for his mother, who was found dead meters away from a thunderpath, it had seemed that both parties had been hit by a monster, but only Rustpaw had survived, but not without injury, the poor kitten had lost its front left leg before his life had properly began to start. He was adopted into the clan and even from the moment he could talk he instantly labelled himself as a mischief maker, constantly betting that he could beat anyone in a fight and trying to escape the confines of the camp to go explore on his own since he thought himself strong enough to. Growing up to become a boisterous and competitive apprentice, he never backs down from a challenge for better or worse and has a temper shorter than a mouse's step. Constantly wanting to prove that he can do whatever is being asked of him and better, no matter if he is missing a leg, especially to prove to those who pick on him for it so. Although being probably the loudest cat in the clan, he will stick up for those he considers his friends and is loyal to a fault towards his clan.
