⋟ Samuel is a superficially charming and spirited young man whom most would describe as 'good-hearted', albeit somewhat of a troublemaker. While he's often known to tease others, he maintains a veneer of playfulness over his behavior that allows most people to dismiss it as merely good-natured joking. Usually, it is - but not always. Despite his apparent innocence, the young man can be quite underhanded and manipulative when he wants to. He is determined, often stubborn to a fault, and willing to do just about anything to get what he wants. He's seldom one to be truly cruel, but can be quite rude and brash at times, as he is quite outspoken and isn't one to leave his opinions out of things - regardless of whether or not others really want to hear them. His greatest fault is likely his selfish nature, which causes him to be arrogant, petulant, and sometimes childishly petty. He's ambitious, independent, and free-spirited, and rarely listens to naysayers, both for better and for worse. While he is quite charismatic and knows how to play people, he has pushed most of the people in his life away (either intentionally or unintentionally) and has left himself quite lonely underneath it all. He struggles to keep friends due to his reckless and self-centered actions and his difficulty being genuine. Samuel doesn't like dealing with serious burdens (even when he should) and tends to be avoidant of his responsibilities. He would much rather maintain his carefree attitude and float through petty quarrels than deal with his real feelings - or anyone's real feelings, for that matter.

⋟ As for an arranged marriage, Samuel's opinions are largely preconceived. The young wolf by and large loathes his family's influence and would rather not do anything they tell him to. He considers the ins and outs of high society life to be dreadfully dull and vapid and entirely unbefitting of creatures who are meant to be wild and free-spirited. He dreams of travelling the world, embracing freedom and curiosity - but this dream pretty much only involves himself. (this will be updated once his partner is known!)

⋟ Desmond Cartier is a very soft-spoken and timid young man, almost unbecomingly so. He is remarkably quiet and demure, rarely stepping out of line and generally deferring to others around him. He has a gentle and kindly soul, and would most certainly never hurt anyone on purpose, but he is easily intimidated and very much guarded. However, he is nonetheless quite sensitive and often labeled a 'crybaby' due to how easy he is to upset. Distress is one of the few things he expresses easily; you're not very likely to see him smile, and despite his emotional softness he seems to be unshakably dour. His somber and sometimes pessimistic attitude makes him seem insufferably melancholy at times, though underneath it is a loving heart merely shaken by years of worry. Above all else, he craves acceptance, and is willing to do anything to earn it. He fears people won't or don't like him, and even if you're nice to him, he might remain suspicious of your intentions. He is quite empathetic towards others, though, and more than willing to sacrifice his own happiness for someone else. In fact, his desire to be liked tends to overwhelm his better judgment and his own loyalty to himself. He tends to be overly critical of his own actions and keeps to himself out of fear others will react poorly to him expressing his opinions or feelings. While he is kind at heart, his outer shell is very difficult to get through due to his defensive nature and tendency to be distrustful of others' intentions.

⋟ Desmond is willing to go through with just about anything to win the slightest bit of approval from his family. His father, a wealthy businessman who manages a trading company, still denies him the inheritance he would be owed as the Cartiers' firstborn son due to his natal sex, and much of the rest of his family he is now distanced from, belonging to them only in name. The marriage arranged for him is Desmond's only real shred of hope for gaining any amount of re-acceptance. (this will be updated once his partner is known!)

Poor Charlotte doomed to a life of unrealistic expectation. Known as Charlie
to everyone, her father tried to turn her into the strong son he wanted to take
over his empire. She has been training her whole life to me the male successor.
This allowed her to do a lot of things women were not allowed to do as she was
always presented as "The Vonderheist Boy". She even went to a debutant ball
for show, dressed as a guy! However, her father recently had a son with one of
his mistresses and her entire world is now different. She's been cast aside -
no longer worth the risk of pretending. Now she is expected to be "unveiled" as
the Vonderheist's lost flower. A refined princess who was away at charm school
for all these years. The catch? Charlotte has no idea how to be a woman in this
society. Fortunately, her father seems to still have a soft spot for her after
spending so many years teaching her and has allowed her to enter into an
arranged marriage as she is. As long as she tries her hardest to be a "proper lady".
She promised but has no such intentions. She ISN'T happy about the prospect of
being some man's wife (or some powerful woman's wife) as she is being presented
as a dainty little flower. The poor betrothed is in for a "nasty surprise" - but they
would be foolish to step out of such a lucrative marriage. (or even raise much
suspicion) The Vonderheist name is attached to many industries as their family
has been the generous donor to many a business then eventually would purchase
said busniesses as vampire lifespans are much longer than most. Charlotte will
"play along" for a bit but the moment her betrothed steps on her toes she WILL
show them what a powerful "man" she can be.

Once upon a time, William would prefer to never leave the library and
always study rather than meeting people let alone marrying. However,
he has a change of tune after discovering fantasy and romance books.
He had never even thought of leaving the science and referencesection
but one day he picked one up and has not stopped reading them since
"wouldn't it be romantic to fall in love with my betrothed?" he longs
for romance. BUT he also hates people and has been a recluse up until
a week ago. Having been an academic prodigy, William has prioritized
study and science over e v e r y t h i n g else. He is still a proper
gentleman and can talk his way through a needle but would much
prefer a library or school classroom. So he's going to be an awkward
lovestruck boy trying to romance someone when he doesn't fully
understand emotion. He is set to be a professor at a local academic
institution and really has no time for a lover - despite his romantic
whimsy. Hopefully, someone will find it worthwhile to find out who
he is behind the books and IQ. OR someone peaks his fancy enough
to priority over his precious books...

as a child, ellenora had always been quite vocal and rather blunt, even when t came to sensitive sub
jects. in her youth it had been seen as merely a childish innocence, but as she aged it was clear that
she knew what she was doing. it was seen as unladylike and often scorned upon by her parents, but
this only fueled the fire in her in her teenage years. while she was learning to be a proper lady, she
was doing more than calling others out on their behavior; she was spreading rumors. it gave her a
nasty label in her teachings, something as an adult she often looks down upon with regret.

presently, ellenora is often found as the center of attention, albeit rarely good. she was boisterous
and had a loud laugh. she often spoke out of turn, although recently it was something she was trying
to overcome. underneath her loud exterior, elle was quite unconfrontational, hated putting more
than the average amount of effort into most things, and often found herself lonely even in a room full
of people. learning about the arranged marriage at first was upsetting, and she was quite vocal about
it, but after some time and consideration, the thought isn't so bad. she can enjoy the company of
another, even if it wasn't the most ideal situation. all she could hope for though was that they'd at
least be tolerable.

ter one too many miscarriages. that in itself, is
the reason he was prized in the family. though,
he grew up around his mother, who was not to
be trifled with. she wanted to carve elijah into
the perfect child, unaware of how it affected
him due to her own selfish desires. there's alwa
ys been a wish to pull away from all the things
she sees him to be; a craving to rebel. but to be
fair, his mother terrifies him to bits, as does she
to many others. xii. on first impressions, many
are intimidated from elijah's cold demeanor. he
appears standoffish and more or less annoyed,
but this is just from the distance. elijah is very
passive when it comes down to his temperament
for the most part, he's actually very relaxed and
easygoing, although he remains more on the qu
iet, cautious and analyzing side of interactions.

he's very selective with his friends and who he sh
ares information with; however, even those clos
est to him don't know what's going on in his mind.
with unreadable expressions and features that sh
ift only just a hair, it's difficult to connect to him
as it is for him to connect with everyone else. it's
nearly like talking to a brick wall trying to get out
of him what he wants for himself, as he always
throws out the "i don't care" when it is very obv
ious that he should, right? xiii. despite his upbrin
ging, elijah still remains as humble and benevol
ent as ever, though he struggles with his own mor
als. if it's to help another, he's not afraid of saying
saying what needs to be done, even if they may
not enjoy the words. he never wishes any harm on
others no matter what, but that's thrown out the
window when he's irritated in some way, becoming
incredibly unforgiving and abrasive towards those
who attempt to calm him down. elijah's not afraid
to cut people off when he considers them unwor
thy of his companionship and trust. xiv. elijah do
esn't have it in him to refuse an arranged marria
ge regardless on whether he likes it or not. he is
unappreciative his mother's control on him.
