also I have a quick question for anyone to answer — the face paint the Grounders wear, are they symbolic/meaningful to that individual? I'm assuming their markings are all different, or do people have the same look? Or is it, like, the Trikru have a certain "painting" and another clan has another look, and so forth?
lil edit: I read into it more & the large bits of face markings are war paint, but again, do any of our Trikru characters have markings for ritual purposes or anything, or are they all just chilling?

i have this idea in my head that giulietta has war paint that is similar to blodreina's, but green, made from some herbs since she's the healer. so like this:

I tried looking into it as well, and I'm not seeing them being religious and is used more for war, though I don't see why it couldn't be a preference if you wanted someone to just wear it all the time.
