other: hailpaw bravely looks danger in the eye and stands up to any threat! she will defend her friends and family to the grave, and it's very difficult to stamp out her spirit. she always seems to have boundless energy, ready to take any task head-on. to call her lazy would be a massive insult. the gray-and-white tabby genuinely means well, even if she comes across a bit too strong at times. she really believes that her actions are for the greater good; if she didn't, she would abandon the practice right away. however, it can be difficult to sway her once her mind is set. it can also be hard for the apprentice to let go of nagging thoughts, and for her to accept that she's wrong. she prefers for other cats to be able to keep up with her, and when they can't, she leaves them behind. even with some of her closest family members, although she loves them dearly, she would choose to push forward on her own if she had to choose between doing that and settling down. it would take somebody veeeeeery special to make her slow down and wait. hailpaw wants to be the best that she can be, so she's usually the first to volunteer to any task, no matter how undesirable. the she-cat can be pretty competitive with these tasks and can get butthurt and resentful if she doesn't get as far as she hoped. she's so trusting and eager to help that she's very susceptible to falling into traps. the molly may be tricked easily, provided the lure is just right. she moves at a very fast pace with most aspects of her character. if someone isn't able to keep up, or if they can't accomplish a task the way she wants, she'll get frustrated and give up on them easily. she can be a bit like a steamroller in that sense, and almost always ends up doing things herself. her presence is very strong, and although she means well, she will often come on too strong. hailpaw also tends to order others around, which may result in knocking heads with other cats.

other:he cares deeply for those who he considers close, most often seen doting after his brother. ashbird is deeply passionate about his ability to provide and the weight that his first-born status inflicts upon himself, often describing it as both a burden and blessing. the pointed siamese likes to reflect on his actions and the actions of others, often losing himself to his own thoughts long after a conversation ends. he is rather quiet however, so his talkative and quick-witted nature is only seen by a select few or if he is caught in a sociable mood. ashbird is ambitious in the sense that if he knows what he wants, he will do everything in his power to reach it. this is due to his mother's stories of how she and ruffian, his siamese father who briefly tried to become a clan cat, had fallen short from so many of their aspirations; he believes that by securing his present, he can secure his future and avoid ending up as miserable as ruffian had been in the last few days that he had seen the tom. the warrior’s biggest fear is to die alone, and he often thinks about those he loves passing as though he and his brother had meant nothing to them. it fills him with a bitter sense of selfishness, a need and desire to keep he and his brother in their own little bubble away from all of the external hurt that seems to plague those around them. it makes him incredibly difficult to get to know. thus, his personality (when shining) can come off as intense and almost overwhelming to those unfamiliar with ashbird’s sense of humor and dour outlook on life. while the handsome cat tries his best to remain positive in all situations, this positivity shines best under sardonic jokes and generally less-than-friendly comments. it isn't his intention to be so unapproachable, but his patience is limited and he often feels as though he is wasting time by trying to allow others to understand him. so, more often than not, he'll cut conversation short if he feels as though he is being made a fool of. this makes ashbird’s attention to detail quite extreme, and he'll often spend the hours he isn't with his brother alone, watching those around him and learning their movements and mannerisms. if caught staring, however, he gets quite flustered, so it's rare to see him openly keeping an eye on other cats. upon joining the clan and finding himself with a task and rank, he has made it one of his goals to open up more with both himself and his clanmates. while ashbird struggles to recognize verbal behavior of those around him, he keeps a close eye on those he socializes with regularly and is able to distinguish their usual charm from when they're off their game. he doesn't often try to pry issues or press others to talk, but his concerns are real and slowly growing into understanding from the once fully selfish cat he was as a rogue. while ash is still selfish to protect himself, his own emotions, and his family, he is adapting to the lifestyle of a clan cat and his newfound role of a provider and protector for more than just his brother.
