𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘. in his early life oddeyes was treated as a runt not wort
h the effort of feeding. only his mother’s affection for her ‘oddy,’ kept him
alive long enough to apprentice. many of the tasks were hard for such a sm
all cat often bullied by the other apprentices & looked over by the warriors.
his mother died delivering her next litter before he had finally discovered h
is talents as a gatherer’s apprentice. without anyone to be proud of him, o
ddeyes decided to work tirelessly for himself to prove once & for all that he
was a worthy member of ruinclan. his warrior name is proof that oddeyes is
just as capable as other cats & his skills & techniques as a gatherer are an u
ndeniable asset to the clan’s survival.
𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄. despite being a fully grown tom, Oddeyes is a small cat
dwarfed by all but the apprentices with a slight, skinny frame hardly fleshe
d with muscle at all. the bones of his shoulder blades form sharp peaks und
er a coat that hangs loosely, occasionally revealing his ribs. adding to his un
healthy appearance is his scruffy pelt: it is a rich mottled brown color with
black spotted tabby markings & a few touches of russet hue on his nose & b
ack but is also very dry, coarse fur that sticks up in whiskery tufts at his te
mples, shoulders, & the base of his tail. the fur falls out easily since oddey
es is prone to stress-shedding & is quite thin. he earns his name from his hu
ge, luridly yellow-green eyes that dominate his small, narrow face & miss n
othing. aging him beyond his years is a touch of white at his mouth set off b
y a very red nose that can appear raw as if from a cold. oddeyes appears sic
kly but survives as well as any cat & is often at a slight weight even when w
ell-fed & in prime condition. his scent is dank & musty like growing things &
his voice is low & thin with a reedy quality to it at times (v.c. is Nick Hoult).

eems superficial as they have never served him well to begin with. he does
n’t care to be popular & knows some cats dislike him for being odd so the s
mall tom maintains peace with his clanmates by hanging around the fringes
of things & never calling attention to himself. existing outside of social nor
ms has made him a bit eccentric & quirky as he has a habit of speaking to h
imself when he’s trying to concentrate & is very particular about his metho
ds while gathering. strangeness aside, oddeyes isn’t unworthy of respect as
he is exceptionally good at finding useful items in the abandoned twoleg to
wn his clan lives on the edges of. he has this uncanny ability to see the pot
ential of an item’s usefulness even if it's an object cats have never made us
e of before. whether a cat likes him or not, many employ his gathering skill
