cool, calm, and collected with no greater goal in life than to protect the people he loves, kane appears a fitting choice to be known as the leader of the group. he's the glue that keeps them all together (usually), and without him, there's no doubt that everybody would be in shambles. he's a natural leader and strategist, and knows how to get people on his side if the situation calls for it. however, despite his good qualities for leadership, kane also feels a desperate need to have control over everyone. it comes from a good place, but the fact of the matter is that he can often be too overbearing, too quick to make snap judgements, and often treats his companions like children in a misplaced hope to protect them. he knows this isn't the right way to keep the others safe, deep down (and has gotten into many arguments for it), but he's admittedly too prideful to ask for help. he keeps his problems to himself and bottles up his emotions. he'd gladly die for anyone and everyone on the team that he's come to know and love like his own family, and is determined to see them make it to the safe house no matter the cost to him. even before the apocalypse, he was a family man at heart. the ceo of a wealthy company, he made enough to comfortably support himself and his beloved husband, oliver. oliver was sadly killed by a rogue zombie when the pandemic first began, though, and kane forever blames himself for his death. perhaps that's why he works so hard to keep the group safe. he sees them as a second chance... a chance to protect again after failing once.

others at times, and the nightmares don't help eith
er. but he's not the only one who matters anymore.

rsonality. kane isn't about to share his life story w

their pasts. sometimes, it's nice to have someone

xtremely nervous for reasons he's not willing to m
ull over. ever. kane catches his heart beating faste
r often around him. damn that man. no wonder k
ane sends him off to scout the land so often.

kane has always been the sort to never trust anyth
ing new, and sacha is no exception. while not out
wardly hostile to the newbie at all, he holds him a
t an arm's length, unwilling to trust him with any
important tasks. perhaps that will change one day?

seemingly brooding and intimidating, raf's only ever s

whenever he doesn't like something, which gets him i
n trouble more often than not. he's never liked the id
ea of authority, always being a challenging and argum
entative individual, but at the end of the day he'll stil
l probably do what you ask of him,, as long as he trust
s you.' he's more loyal and obedient than he lets show.
he tends to be a little cold,, not liking any type of aff

arm about raf. he also tends to be a little temperamental,, habitually
snapping at people when they inconvenience, though over the years h
e's grown to be remorseful too, especially when he accidentally snaps
at people he feels close to. bad at apologies, but he'll try, because co
ntrary to popular belief he Does care about people,,, though he'll nev
er admit it... he generally doesn't have a problem with trusting newer
people, he's very analytical and observant,' picking up the smallest de
tails within seconds, and detecting deception comes naturally to him,
so he knows when he can trust someone or not.. quick on his feet and
stealthy, fighting isn't his strong point, but he knows how to get out o
f a fight unscathed, a quick thinker who somehow manages to get out
of the stickiest situation alive. though raf doesn't mind being on his o
wn, he prefers being with the group, as if it's a reassurance that ever
yone is safe and sound. he also struggles to fall asleep unless someon
e is physically with him,,, he has dealt with this since he was a child.
