• PERSONALITY. A stalwart, no-nonsense warrior, Hawktalon has served her clan for many moons and intends to for the rest of her life. Her bearing carries an effortless weight of self-assurance, but while interacting with others, she is soft-spoken and humble. Hard work and responsibility undercut nearly her every action. Quietly ambitious, Hawktalon would like to aim for a higher position but doesn’t want to overstep her bounds and ask for more than what she has. She has faith in those around her, but expressions of this can fall into tough love, and anxiety about doing jobs right can lead her to automatically take control in areas where she’s meant to work in a team. She’s also known to be something of a pessimist (although she considers herself a realist) and strict when it comes to obeying the warrior code, coming down hard on clanmates she sees as not showing the rules or their leadership the respect they’ve earned.

Hawktalon can come across as cold and apathetic, but this is mostly due to shyness. She finds it difficult to interact with others for long periods of time and can shy away even the briefest of conversations, seeing to her duties well before maintaining relationships. Commitment is easy for her when it comes to concepts and ideals, but with other cats, Hawktalon finds it a bit more difficult. A sense of loneliness and melancholy has developed over the years from watching other clanmates mingle while she stands alone, but Hawktalon refuses to let this show or open up more to those around her, seeing such a display of emotion as a sign of weakness. As a result of this opinion, she tends not to be outwardly emotional at all. Under the surface, however, Hawktalon does possess a natural sense of warmth and tumultuous moods that she fights to keep from overwhelming her.

• PERSONALITY. Idealistic and tenderhearted, Dovepaw is as soft at his core as the feathers of the bird for which he was named. Though not particularly physically strong, he is determined and eager, his earnest intent to prove himself serving sometimes to his advantage and sometimes against him. He is introverted but outgoing, wanting to spend time with clanmates and make friends but sometimes having trouble mingling for his lack of energy for social situations. Easily excitable and prone to panic, he can come across as cowardly, but some degree of bravery does burn deep inside Dovepaw. He’s not very observant, but his warmth and compassion can overpower this. However, in battle and while hunting, he often finds himself having to rely on other cats for cues and is not a skilled strategist.

With his age, Dovepaw isn’t particularly mature and is prone to impulsivity. He puts on airs to seem older and wiser than he is—sometimes making him seem pretentious to fellow apprentices, though this isn’t necessarily his intention—but fears his youth is blatant and grating beneath the thin shield. While he attempts to get along best with older warriors and has an overpowering amount of respect for his seniors, in practice he tends to trip over his tongue in their presence, and his true personality shines best around cats closer to his age. Often, he acts without fully thinking things through. His brain-to-mouth filter isn’t the best, and if a clanmate is in need, Dovepaw will rush headlong into danger without pausing to consider a plan of attack. To this end, his listening skills could also use sharpening.

• PERSONALITY. Since she was a kit, Daisyfrost has been quiet and introverted, but as she grew up this trait only intensified and sharpened. She is a cold, unforgiving warrior whose tongue can be as sharp as her claws. Her physical strength is not extreme, although extensive training over the years has made her a powerful fighter more than willing to play dirty nonetheless, but Daisyfrost’s endurance, speed, and stubbornness serve to her advantage. Giving up is simply not in her nature. In life, she was not able to fully explore her ambitions, but when she wants something she’ll commit to it. Although she can be icy in early interactions, further heckling of Daisyfrost will reveal a fierce temper that flares up with little prompting, as likely to be unleashed physically as it is verbally.

Despite her nature, Daisyfrost is ultimately loyal and honest, refusing to lie—at least according to her own perception, which means that she still might not speak the entire truth, and her sense of honesty leans toward the brutal end of things. She is prone to falling into strict ideals of morality that employ something of an us versus them mentality. To this effect, she is also prone to sorting others into extremes and snapping when the pedestals she’s built crumble. If someone treats her well, she swears her undying fealty to them; if they don’t, she’d sooner leave them to the crows. Trust doesn’t come easily to her, and although she is loyal to them, her Dark Forest clanmates are as on thin ice to her as those of AlpineClan back when she lived among them. In addition, due to the cause of her sister’s death, Daisyfrost has a mild fear of heights.

• HISTORY. Growing up, Daisykit’s life was average. Her parents were two strong warriors that had served the clan for many moons before deciding to pass their skills on, and she and her only littermate Brightkit got along as well as any siblings could. As she progressed into training, however, Daisypaw became increasingly aware of a gap forming between her and her sister, who had become the medicine cat’s apprentice. Their parents doted upon Brightpaw and effectively ignored Daisypaw. This attitude soon spread throughout the rest of the clan, or so it seemed to Daisypaw, who started to drift from her clanmates out of building distrust and discontent.

One day, Brightpaw, in an attempt to bridge the developing distance between her and Daisypaw, invited Daisypaw to come gather herbs with her. Daisypaw accepted, resentful toward Brightpaw but forcing herself to accept that it wasn’t her fault. Something went wrong partway into the trip, however—Daisypaw stepped away, turning her back, and when she turned back around it was to see the edge of a cliff crumbling as Brightpaw slipped and fell down.

Brightpaw’s death was an accident, but Daisypaw knew all the clan’s eyes were on her as the cause—their grieving parents’ certainly were. Daisypaw grew even more distant and resentful as the moons passed. She became a warrior by the name of Daisyfrost, and as if emboldened by the name, her cold personality only harshened as seasons passed. Shortly after Daisyfrost became a warrior, her mother fell ill. Daisyfrost could gather little sympathy, and her and her father’s already sparse interactions grew nonexistent when her mother passed on. Angry and isolated, still bearing the guilt of Brightpaw’s death, Daisyfrost began to snap at everything and everyone in sight, now lashing out rather than bottling everything up.

With the reckless habits she’d developed, it didn’t come as a surprise when Daisyfrost was struck down in battle. As stubborn now as she’d always been, she tried to fight through her wounds, but injured badly and refusing to follow the medicine cat’s orders, only a few days passed before she found herself weakened and unable to carry on.

When she woke, however, it wasn’t among her deceased kin and other clanmates in StarClan but in darkness, surrounded by the shade of tall, crooked trees. Offered the chance for revenge against the clan that had wronged her, Daisyfrost accepted in an instant. Here she has walked and trained for many moons, unsure even now how much time has passed but knowing one thing: She will see AlpineClan destroyed no matter what it takes.

sunpaw is a big, heavy ginger tabby with a bright orange pelt and darker coloured stripes. the tip of his muzzle is white along with the tip of his tail. he has deep amber eyes and long whiskers.

sunpaw is an extremely loyal cat who, even at his young age, would lay down his life to protect his clan. he works hard at his apprentice duties, often offering first to fetch moss or food for the elders. due to his size, he is clumsy when it comes to hunting, his big paws catching stones or his shoulders brushing against the undergrowth. on the plus side, his big frame and heavy body has helped him to become a formidable fighter using powerful strikes or crushing his opponent with his weight though he remains quite slow. sunpaw is extremely energetic, often pestering his mentor if they can go out on patrols or do some training even after just getting back from doing something else.

bluefrost is a small, slender grey and white tabby. she has a deep grey pelt with almost black stripes. her chest and muzzle are white as are the toes of all four paws. she has crisp blue eyes.

as an apprentice, bluefrost always dreamed of being a warrior and fighting for her clan. about two moons into her training she hadn't even managed to get the hang of a basic hunting crouch and was a clumsy fighter. she then had a dream from starclan insisting that her destiny lay on the path of a medicine cat so she became the medicine cat apprentice. healing came a lot more naturally to her, her gentle touch and soothing voice reassuring all of her patients. bluefrost has good instinct when it comes to spotting the early signs of illnesses and infections. since the passing of her parents, bluefrost has developed a very strong bond with her sister and the two are almost inseparable.
