okay! so sorry for how late this is, I had intended to finish all of my posts last week but a close family member became suddenly ill and my thoughts have been occupied by them as of late.

-- they are doing better now! not out of the woods yet but better than before c:

First post is up! feel free to get your own posts up as you see fit, those who haven't completed their forms please let me know when you finish them as I'm not super actively checking this thread to see if forms are finished.

say hello to softpaw, the bold yet charismatic apprentice of yuccaclan. he
is a rather independent cat who is interested in the world around him, often
finding trouble. softpaw is currently six moons young and is, of course, a
male. he has medium-length grey tabby fur and deep amber eyes. he is
somewhat plump, but has a rather short figure with stumpy legs. he is
skittish and quick to react, but prefers to hide from confrontation and
arguments with others. softpaw has no crush, mate, or kits. he does not
know his family.

ＰＥＲＳＯＮＡＬＩＴＹ;; softpaw is a best friend to all - he's well-known within the clan for being a good friend and someone who appreciates laughter. he's very close to anyone he meets and isn't one to shy away from getting to know others. although he considers many people as his friends, he feels a deep connection to all of them and truly values their company. to his closest friends, he's known as someone they can always go to for advice or comfort, since he's a great listener. he's both empathetic and sympathetic, however can sometimes be too considerate for his own good, putting others before himself when he should be thinking of himself first. being the 'funny therapist' of his friend group, he rarely wants to burden them with his own struggles, and becomes quiet when he's troubled. he often thinks a lot and overanalyzes, or is completely oblivious to certain things if he's concentrated on something else. softpaw isn't afraid of strangers nor making a scene, rather enjoying being in the spotlight even if he's making a fool of himself, hence why some may think of him as reckless. he has a tendency of getting into trouble in some way, yet his charisma and likeableness can often keep him away from larger consequences. he does things without considering the result, perhaps due to his optimistic views. softpaw is surprisingly well mannered towards certain cats and is very polite despite his humorous personality around his friends. he'll often perform little acts of kindness towards others, not wanting to think of it as a big deal if he offers a spot in the sunlight to someone else or shares his newly caught prey with cats. softpaw is also known as being extremely passionate, although brushing it off as having just some little interests. his big dream is to become the leader of the clan, and to finally prove himself as a true member of the clan. he considers himself to be a rather skilled hunter, especially considering his lack of claws, which he thinks may cause some of the other apprentices to look down on him. hence why softpaw is often nervous in battle, knowing that he has a difficult time competing with his fellow clanmates. however, his brute strength and strong jaws allow him to kill his prey with little effort, and his paws are tough and hard-hitting even without sharp daggers. although when he does get complimented on his hunting, he is completely appreciative of anything positive about his work, though rarely shows how it makes him feel. he's bad at accepting praise, instead muttering a slight thank you and giving a warm smile while he's actually feeling quite honored.

ＨＩＳＴＯＲＹ;; previously a kittypet, softpaw found himself in the desert after his twoleg had abandoned him for several days. the kibble in his dish had ran out, and softpaw had no choice but to flee his home. a yuccaclan patrol had found the starving kitten and decided to take him in - they needed another apprentice after the death of those warriors.

softpaw does not have claws on his two front paws , as he was declawed as a kitten

he smells of dry leaves and catmint, and sounds like mark lee.

say hello to cherrycloud, a cautious yet caring warrior. she is known for
being loving to her close friends, and distant from other clanmates. she is
rather shy, and prefers to stay away from unfamiliar situations. cherrycloud
is currently fourteen moons young and is, of course, a female. she has
medium-length pure white fur and soft green eyes. she is quite lithe
and slender, and has a long figure with an unusually long tail. this
makes her a rather skilled hunter, with quick pounces and silent
pawsteps in the sand. cherrycloud has no crush, mate, or kits.

ＰＥＲＳＯＮＡＬＩＴＹ;; cherrycloud was a bright and ambitious apprentice who adored the clan, hoping to become a well-respected warrior as she aged. she wasn't expecting to earn her warrior name so suddenly, especially not in those circumstances. tansygrass was her mentor, and a very skilled warrior, and to hear of their death was absolutely frightening, as well as why it had happened. cherrycloud is fearful to trust anyone now, and she tends to shy away from forming new friendships with her fellow clanmates due to the distrust she felt from her mentor. she keeps a small group of friends, however, and knows that they would do no harm, but every other cat feels like a stranger to her now. cherrycloud much prefers to be alone rather than in a group, and tends to sleep in to skip the morning patrols so that she can hunt alone, while still providing for the clan. to many of the cats in yuccaclan, she is seen as an outsider, however, she is truly a caring and deeply loving cat to those she knows she can trust. she is fiercely loyal to her friends and the rest of her clanmates, and is given respect for her work as a warrior. although, the death of her mentor when she was still an apprentice resulted in her not having a complete understanding of hunting strategies and battle techniques, so she has had to teach herself some of the methods of being a warrior. this makes her uneasy and panicky whenever she encounters a situation that she wasn't taught by her mentor, and she has a hard time believing in her own talents.

ＨＩＳＴＯＲＹ;; cherrycloud was born to two senior warriors in the clan, and grew up as the only kit in the litter. she made most of her friends with the apprentices because of this, and was a very outgoing and playful kit, who was even a bit ahead in her training due to the techniques she learned from her apprentice friends. as an apprentice, her mentor was tansygrass, and cherrycloud adored training, and she wanted to become a great warrior of the clan. she was nearing the end of her training at eleven moons, when tansygrass was found dead alongside two other warriors, who were planning on murdering the leader. cherrycloud was shocked and angered, she couldn't believe the mentor she had trusted had betrayed the clan. cobrastar decided to make cherrycloud a warrior early, to prevent another situation like it, and gave her the suffix -cloud for her friendly personality towards all of her clanmates. there are still some things cherrycloud doesn't know about being a warrior, and her suffix no longer completely suits her.

she smells of peach blossoms and warm water, and sounds like chou tzuyu.

cinnamon is a gentle, thoughtful young she-cat.she is
soft-spoken and never overbearing. she is seeming perfectly content minding her own with the company of others
nearby. this is rooted from a kithood of neglect, with her parents seeming
to leave her alone at every chance they could get - and eventually abandoning her.

softpaw is a somewhat new apprentice to the clan at only six moons young who was previously a kittypet. he doesnt have front claws which makes him nervous during training in fear that the other apprentices will look down on him but hes a good friend even though he likes to get in trouble. i think it would be fun if he had a partner / group of apprentices to get into mischief with lol -- hes bisexual and open for crushes and friendships

cherryheart is a young warrior at 14 moons but doesnt feel like one as her mentor was one of the cats who was in the gang and killed in the patrol, so she doesnt have the best skills in hunting or fighting. shes a bit of a loner because of her weariness to form new friendships, as she isnt sure if she can trust anyone that they are loyal clanmates, however she isnt a not-friendly cat lol. shes bisexual and open for crushes, friendships, and kin too
