i agree with zyn here, it's a bit unfair when one of the characters gets the spotlight for most of the rp, but a plot point that puts another cat to the front is suggested is denied. it'd also be a way to play with the core plot of the rp: brookpaw could probably cause a bit of a mess in the territory near camp - like leaving animal carcasses scattered everywhere and digging up things - and attract a big predator? or he could accidentally injure some cats (with their permission ofc) and force the clan to keep a closer eye on the apprentices? or anything else, really!

also, you're not required to participate! you're more than welcome to have your cats guard camp or do something else there ^^

edit: i realize that the first example i mentioned (the big predator one) actually doesn't fall much in line with the main plot at all. but that could possibly also lead into mentors being harsher towards apprentices and the prophecy from starclan being doubted!

i personally really like that idea! maybe it could cause some more loyal warriors to doubt the prophecy and consider it to have been an overreaction/misreading of the prophecy, and search for the real meaning? it possibly could also be a way for miragestar to get more of a hold on the clan, but that's just my thoughts. ^^

I feel like Miragestar could use that as an excuse to forget about the first prophecy when in reality the first prophecy is already falling into place. That might be a good idea! <3

@ belloblossom - this is the pace that the owner decided on. they had already stated awhile ago that we were time skipping to the evening. dani just pointed out that this would coincide with brookpaw's prophecy. so if you have an issue with the pacing talk to the owner since they are the one pacing the rp out not dani. }

Little question about Brookpaw's mentor. I got that Twist is not mentoring him anymore (or during her punisment)...but do I still need to make her go to talk Acacia to give him a new mentor? Or is it already desided for him to have new one? (Does Mirage ask Acacia to choose him a new one?)

Whew, looks like a lot has happened overnight! Let's see if I've got everything covered lol

I'll probably post on the main thread somewhat soon with the announcement of the time-skip, which will still be at night-time. It'll be a "last hurrah" kind of thing for the first in-character day of roleplay before tensions start rising and the main event really comes into play (basically, it may seem like a few cats are causing drama right now, but eventually almost all of the cats will be causing problems. So don't worry if you're feeling a little left out at the moment!)

Before the time-skip, here are the following things we'll be assuming:
- the patrol followed the scent of the fox but didn't find it again
- Twistflare spoke with Acaciapetal and Brookpaw was assigned a new mentor (@Dani if you have any requests let me know! If not, he'll be assigned a random mentor)
- everyone is now in camp

If you'd like, here are my plans for the following time-skips:

1st time-skip: (night-time of the first day) Brookpaw's powers are out of control and he manages to kill some deer/large prey. A patrol has to go find him, most likely consisting of Acaciapetal and a cat from each player that would like to be involved. This drama will eventually attract some more large predators and cause some more speculation about prophecies for apprentices.

2nd time-skip: (a few days later) Strong warriors with prophecies have been assigned watch over Brookpaw at night-time to ensure he doesn't wreak havoc on the territory again. Over the past couple of days, rumors and threats have been spreading through the clan about apprentices with prophecies. Maybe Miragestar takes some sort of action?? Some sort of other drama that anyone wants to suggest??

3rd time-skip (big event): (a week later) Everyone wakes up, and the tension in the air is stifling. Throughout the day, everyone's prophecies seem to be growing out of control. Cats are destroying the territory and causing conflict between each other (whether this is intentional or accidental - that part is up to you!). Maybe some conflict between Miragestar and Acaciapetal??

4th time-skip: (idk yet oops) Cats finally start explicitly stating whether they side with Miragestar or Acaciapetal, temporarily splitting the clan until a solution to the problem can be made and the clan can return to peace.

Of course, a lot of the details can be changed and I'd like everything to adhere to what you guys want!

Just asking but what are the large predators? Wolves? Bears (they don't live in groups thought lol)? Mountain lions? Coyotes? what else is in there?

and who are those special apprentices?
