Ooooh! Very helpful! But like whereabouts IS everyone? I don’t want to end up throwing my characters more or less in the middle of nowhere where they won’t be helpful (especially Karter. Karter loves being in the action)

absolutely yes she did ! with him i would say it stems from being considered completely atypical for a child of zeus - maniacal, mischievous, overall a harbinger of chaos, and when he was claimed i imagine the imposter syndrome would’ve taken full force after stories about thalia and the like were fed into his memory . if he’s seen as cocky or over-confident he wants it to be because of the way he acts around people rather than an assumption rooted in his parentage, and overtly referring to him as ‘zappy’ n all would not rub him the right way at all
(a very convoluted way to say ‘yes’, i’m realising)

you know i was considering having him refer to ophelia as ‘buck’ because of her last name being rogers, just down to his own nickname of ‘lofty’ being an army nickname for those who are tall and lanky (or in some cases the opposite for the irony effect) and a common thread in the nicknames is renaming people based on the famous people/things that share their surname ahahah

I’ve only just realized that Auggie having ice powers when she’s anxious/angry/scared is basically Elsa from frozen...you know what I’m not even mad

t1 = team one | t2 = team two

t1 orin and maria are at zeus’ fist with t2 augusta with a fake flag glamoured to look real
t1 ophelia, emmie, and jamie are with the real flag with t2 teilo somewhere in the south forest
t2 hank, aydan, val, and izzy are in the north forest protecting the t2 flag
t2 juliet and aggie are setting traps in the woods
t1 mirabelle is crossing the river boundary and t2 gwendolyn is hiding near the boundry

@sammy,- Cool! I can see Ophelia getting very upset over nicknames too. I love the animosity between them, so many options! I've been thinking of "Steve" or "Cap" or something regarding her last name and captain america for a nickname for her, but whatever you choose is great! I'll have to check out this army nicknames thing for ideas!
