➪Maplepaw is an eager apprentice, wanting to know all there is about the clan. He likes pleasing others and has therefore set himself high standards. I know how to read. Due to his willingness to help, he puts himself at risk of being taken advantage of. Maplepaw, though friendly, is oftentimes too shy to start conversations first (aside from a casual “hello”). However, when he’s with cats that he enjoys being around, his confidence will start to show.

➪Though Fallenears isn’t too old, she has lost her hearing. Lightning struck her former mate, and the thunder made her permanently deaf as she was in close proximity to the strike. She is a demonstrative and determined cat, doing anything she can to do what she feels is right. She likes to socialize, but it’s become harder for her with her deafness, and oftentimes she ends up frustrated. Fallenears can still hear in her dreams, and in the waking world, her sight and sense of smell has sharpened. She can still speak, but her inability to hear her own voice means she can’t always control the tone of her voice (she might sound sad when she’s content, for example).

that's great! i can even see firefinch only feeling comfortable totally letting his guard down around her too, like she would be the only soul to ever see him act childish or even vent XP
and that'd be so cute! hickorypaw would make sure he's never lonely ever again <3 i actually think it'd be cute if she's been like head over heels for him for quite some time and maybe has even subtly tried to get his attention.
