Personality: Generally seeming gentle and soft spoken, Aether hails from a version of Teyvat that took a very sharp turn off of the usual story very early on. It's made him closed off, only showing his true feelings to a select few and often causing him to seem almost stoic to anyone outside that small circle. He can usually stay level headed even in the most dangerous of situations, almost seeming to forcibly dissociate to be able to focus on what needs to be done and how, but he dislikes being in charge of the actions of others and will often avoid any type of leadership role. He is absolutely not a solitary person however, and in fact tends to be uneasy when on his own, and it wouldn't be a stretch to accuse him of having chronic hero syndrome -- it's not hard at all to convince him to help anyone in need. Despite his current distance from others, he simply cares greatly about everyone, be they stranger or acquaintance.
Of all he's met, Aether is currently the most protective over Little Breeze. He's quick to call them back to him if there's the slightest chance of things going wrong and he dotes on them every chance he gets.

Powers and Abilities: Aether's abilities are much stronger back in Teyvat, but he manages outside of it. He is Anemo -- or wind -- aligned, and very strongly at that. He can create small whirlwinds, or larger ones with enough focus, and has some measure of control over gusts of wind -- enough to create brief updrafts if needed. Fighting in close quarters with a longsword, Aether using his windborne abilities to manipulate his foes' placement, drawing them closer and off balance to attack and pushing them away if he needs a moment to recollect himself.
Alongside this, Aether has some connection to stars and space -- though currently much weaker than his connection to the wind. At the moment the most he can do is create small, dim stars to light dark places -- Or simply to amuse Breeze in down time -- as well as create a small pocket to store his belongings safely.
Equipment: Aether wields a sword known as Aquila Favonia, which resides in the pocket space with the rest of his belongings and can be called to his hand at any time. Alongside this he tends to keep basic supplies for camping and some amount of food with him.

Other: Aether is accompanied by a small wind spirit generally called 'Little Breeze', or simply 'Breeze' to anyone who isn't Aether himself. Breeze can be a bit naive, and not especially wise to the ways of any world whatsoever. Bold and outgoing they are inclined to flit around and bother just about anyone and enjoy playing small harmless pranks like using a small wind to send something flying. While they aren't always 'manifested' in a physical form, they are always near Aether -- if there seems to be a strange unexplained wind blowing his braid or cape, or something seemingly tugging on his earring, that's Breeze.
