Personality

HG-25 was designed to be emotionless, having no problems with completely destroying enemies. However, it was this cold demeanor, combined with paranoia from its creators that caused the model to be shut down and discontinued. Because of it's deactivation, it holds a grudge against the Sheikah, believing that they deactivated it out of fear, despite all it had done for them.

History

The Ancient Sheikah created HG-25 approximately 500 years ago. It was originally a prototype for the mechanical masterpieces that became known as Guardians. It's performance in testing was extremely successful, but eventually the Sheikah began to fear what might happen if Calamity Ganon took control of it. This is their real reason for deactivating the unit, although HG-25 doesn't know this, and believed that the Sheikah feared it because they thought it would be disloyal and destroy them, despite being programmed to protect them.

Personality: A rational, level headed individual, Oliss is one to sit back and study his situation from afar before making a decision and taking action. Because of this he can often be reluctant to react until the last necessary moment, which can at times be his own downfall. He is quiet and gathers information well, although he does not keep quiet about his pride - he thinks himself to be at least somewhat above others and takes pride in his own appearance. Despite this, he has no qualms with sharing his information and tips with those who are quote unquote lesser, and will, although after some deliberation, pledge an earnest loyalty to some. He is slow and reluctant to make friends, but once he does it isn't a bond that is easy to break.
Appearance description: A large owl-like rito, with purple to blue gradient feathers and golden feather tips. He has extended, feeler-like feathers and has notably long eyelashes that have to suggested to assist him see in desert-like areas, although this has yet to be proven. It's much more likely he just likes to look - well, fancy.
Strengths: Archery, problem solving, puzzles, observation, flying.
Weaknesses: Swimming, close range fighting, running, lifting heavy equipment.
