Abilities:
Resulting from his heritage, Nicholas is incredibly
talented with necromancy. He's able to raise and
maintain the undead in this realm with very little
effort. Of course, raising the dead isn't the only
thing he can do with ghosts; Nicholas can commune
with spirits, manipulate their tangibility and what
all they're able to sense, as well as tame particularly
dangerous poltergeists. This affinity with the dead also
gives him a similar affinity to life, so Nick is able to
sense the living or dead status of another and determine
some states about another's life from an object that was
important to them. He's also capable of shadowmancy to
a lesser degree, which is essentially limited to darkening
a room or moving from one shadow to another, as though
it were a doorway. He has wings made from a material
with a similar make as obsidian, and while he doesn't
use them for flight, they're very sharp and resilient
enough to block attacks. Unnatural abilities aside,
Nicholas is skilled with a rapier and very good with
a lute.

Personality:
Though he wasn't in the past, Nicholas is a lively,
confident guy who likes to enjoy things the littler
things in life. He rarely plans ahead and prefers to
take things as they come, curveballs and all. He's
open and outgoing, especially with larger groups
of people, and lives for public speaking. He's
incredibly persuasive, but he's also quite
impulsive, which oftentimes can get him into
trouble. Though he can seem a little
absentminded at times, Nicholas is calm,
collected, and rational, especially when a
situation demands it. More often than not, he'll
allow things to take their course if whatever it is
doesn't affect him or others he cares for.
