xNot much is known about Adsila's past. Complicated doesn't even begin to describex
what she had to endure even as a whelp. She hasn't mentioned even a speck of herx
upbringing to a single soul. Perhaps she's ashamed and the secrecy is necessary? Not x
even the woman who rescued her, Sally, knows the wolfdogs origins. Born on a frozen x
morning in Alaska, Adsila was one of three light brown coated blue eyed wolfdog pups.x
She was of course the first born, and behind her two little brothers. Wolf pups facex
many dangers when they're young, and Adsila's siblings didn't even have a chance tox
hold their own name before they fell to sickness and famine. Her mother of course x
spent her final days in a depression and devastation, having no love in her heart forx
even her last surviving child. The prey in the area was scarce and felt non existent, her x
mother was struggling to feed even herself. She learned that within her pack, herx
mother was the only wolf who was part dog. Although this was seen as shameful and x
weak by the pack, she was taken advantage of by her father. Adsila's mother was often x
bait, luring sled dogs from their humans at night, and as she looked more husky than x
wolf, she was able to get close to the humans and steal food at camps to keep Adsila x
healthy. The pack would wait anxiously within the foliage until a dog was close enough,x
and they would turn on the unsuspecting canine. The brute was many things, but a sirex
to Adsila he was not. He was often cruel and seemed heartless, his only interests werex
to maintain his supremacy and keep the rest of the pack in fear of him rather thanx
respect. Once the young pup was able to gain her senses and begin mastering how to x
walk instead of wobble, she only had a day to feel a mothers love before what felt likex
an eternity of silence. She waited in her burrowed den for an entire night and day,x
starving and frail she had little to no energy to even cry out for her mother. Whenx
morning arose she managed to leave her den and head towards where her mother hadx
set off to the day before. The sight confused her, her mother's bait job had turnedx
horribly, as unusual weapons had been used against her family. Laying next to herx
mother for another long night her curiosity enticed her as faint barks of dogs werex
heard in the distance. The chance of a puppy so small and lost surviving is almostx
impossible, but im not sure her luck had anything to do with it. Managing to get closex
to a town while running after the barks of dogs who reminded her of her mother, shex
was taken by a cruel man, only seeing the profit rather than companionship in ax
wolfdog like Adsila. The cruelty she received from him encouraged her more militantx
and paranoid side to sprout. Chained and fed scraps of food not worthy for insectsx
the innocence she had was snuffed from the pup, and she grew older saddened andx
tired. One morning her humans home was stormed, and many others were rescuingx
the mistreated animals and putting her handler in chains. Karmas a funny thing, andx
her loyalty to him was destroyed the second he didn't control her anymore. Afterx
more cages and more chains her aggression was kept at bay with constant doses ofx
unusual liquids by vets. And after learning to not lash out she started to cower in herx
cage as a response, fearful of any hands that came close. The shelter she resided inx
had a showing at an event for racing, and Adsila was loaded onto the truck. She wasx
unsure where she was going, but she was frightened and frustrated at the same time.x
Once she arrived she was placed in the back, surely no one wanted a beast for ax
sporting dog, but a gentle voice cut off her thoughts. Hey optics locked eyes withx
another, this woman seemed very different from the others she had met. Shex
radiated kindness and her touch was gentle. That was when Sally rescued her andx
gave her an opportunity from redemption. The cruelty Adsila experienced hadx
never left her, and she remained skeptical nd paranoid of all the dogs and humansx
around her, but Sally became her only exception. This could be the start of a
new beginning for her.x

Pringles has drawn her to him as she sees herself as his protector, considering his unwary and child-like personality as something that could get him hurt

xix. Things she finds herself to enjoy are the cold weather and caving to her wolf side; enjoying a simple hunt or a stroll through the forest. Adsila also enjoys the presence of her friend Cedar, and although she doesn't express it as well as she would like to, she delights in spending time with Pringles and Kavik. xx. Her dislikes include being spoken to in a condescending or threatening way as her short temper will undoubtedly get her into some sort of trouble. She also detests Caleb for the mistreatment he showed her and most of her fellow sled dogs with few exceptions
xxi. Her strengths include her experience in sledding and athletic build which leads her to be successful at defending herself against confrontation xxii. Despite having no physical weaknesses to her knowledge, her lack of trust towards others and her propensity to lash out when angered are her biggest flaws xxiii. Adsila doesn't have many unhealthy habits, but her tendency to wander off to be alone is something she finds herself doing plenty of times xxiv. Her positive personality traits include being cautious, persuasive, kind to those she cares for and adventurous xxv. Her numerous negative traits all have to deal with being guarded, over-protective, wounded, assertive, antagonistic and immoral

brief history bella was sold at a young age to sally, and with spending so much time
around the cabin, grew attached to the place and the people. because of this, and her
possessive nature, the husky wasn't pleased when newcomers started to show up. she
has gained quite a unique reputation from several impulsive comments. with some tho

.... so fast, dogs died that day- and kovi passed away shortly after the
.... fight. Alicide was sold to heather and her old musher retired.
.... Alicide fell into a depression and became malnourished while
.... carrying pups, and when the time she birthed one healthy boy,
.... and the rest stillborn. She was horrified and didn't know what to
.... do. Deciding she couldn't take her pup home, she raced into town
.... and left her pup with regret at the doorstep of a pet store. after
.... a year of heavy grieving, she started to look at the positives, in her
