⊰ ─ maxton bell was raised by his aunt, his parents died a premature death at the hands of a drunk driver. Despite this Maxton was raised by his loving aunt who was always spending her time in her study reading about something. The woman never seemed to need sleep as she'd read all throughout the night, it was her way of escaping her reality; a life without her sister. Maxton was luckily fast asleep at home when his parents met their end. Maxton felt bad for the older woman and did himself and her a favor; he asked her to teach him about all that she loved to read about. This was of course the perfect solution for the both of them, his aunt treated him as if he was her child. Maxton treated the woman as his mother, both relying on one another to be each other's only family. Both Maxton and his aunt love history, either magical or just world history, they both will often have lengthy debates about history.

blurb - Calcifer doesn't seem like much when you first meet him. He isn't the tallest, and he's quite lean. He most certainly doesn't stand out in a crowd when lined up with the other Aria students. He comes from a well-respected pureblood family from America, sent to live with his grandparents after his mother got assigned a deep cover job for the Magical Congress of the United States of America. He transferred into Vecchio Montagna two years ago and has yet to find his place. Calcifer has a strong moral compass, which points him to a true neutral direction. He is here to learn, not to get involved in a war for a country that isn't his. The wand he uses was passed down his family line, to every third firstborn son. His animagus form was achieved in his first year staying in Italy, with the help of his grandmother. For the purpose of protecting his family, he is unregistered. He does not plan on staying in Italy after he graduates, leaving him often distant to his peers. He is known for having a firm grip on justice, and is willing to assert his powers over those disobeying the rules of the school.
