appearance: haru is five feet and eleven inches tall with a lean athletic build. his eyes are a glowing gold. he has short blonde hair that is very shiny. his entire body is surrounded by a soft golden glow. on various parts of his body, he has gold markings that glow depending on his energy level. a few of the markings are two bars that wrap around his wrists, one bar around his mid-upper arm, and two bars around his neck.
xxx <--- haru's hero costume. to absorb as much skin as possible, while still being appropriate, he wears a tank top and his pants have openings along the sides. he also wears black cargo boots and has modified ski-like goggles that function as sunglasses. on his shoulders, he has pauldrons made out of reinforced solar panels. these solar panels charge strips of solar spectrum lights on the inside of his costume or their power can be saved in small battery packs on his belt (which i forgot to draw). these lights help recharge him, but only about half as much as actual sunlight does. all of his costume is made of materials meant to withstand his powers at low to mid-levels but can become damaged if he uses high power attacks

personality: haru tends to keep to himself when it comes to people he doesn't know, but when approached he is very sociable. he is also not afraid to speak up when he feels like he needs it. he is known for being fairly sarcastic, but he also makes lighthearted jokes just as much. haru loves a challenge and competition. sometimes he can get a little caught up in the competition and get more aggressive than he intends. to him, life is extremely valuable and killing is always a last resort, even when it comes to villains, but he doesn't mind injuring them.

quirk: sol - haru can absorb sunlight then convert it into light energy and heat to use for attacks. the more light he has absorbed and has the stronger the attacks along with an overall boost to his body such as strength, reflexes, and senses. if he doesn't use his quirk, he can store sunlight for twenty-four hours before it starts to fade. by concentrating the solar energy he can create physical light energy attacks. when he is feeling intense emotions he is more powerful. if the emotions are negative he has less control and his attacks are hotter but darker. he is the most powerful when he is feeling intense positive emotions and his attacks will often be brighter.
the main drawback to his quirk is that it is fairly dependant on the weather and location. if it isn’t sunny then his attacks will not be as powerful and will be limited to the amount in his reserves, unless it is a clear night and the moon is shining brightly since moonlight contains sunlight. also if he is indoors with no windows his attacks will not be as powerful and limited to the amount in his reserves. when he is out of reserves and hasn’t been exposed to sunlight or moonlight then he can only make his palms glow and heat them a maximum of ten degrees. overuse of his quirk will lead to him overheating and his eyes will become very light sensitive.
at the moment haru has two special moves. the first is called sol cannon. sol cannon is a move where he concentrates his power in an intense beam. it is blinding to look directly at and releases an extreme amount of heat. at full power this move completely depletes his reserves, so he must be exposed to sunlight before he can fight again, and it is very physically draining. using this move at full power for too long will lead to him getting heat stroke and passing out.
his second special move is called sol storm. sol storm is a move where he releases a blinding flash of light and an intense wave of heat from his entire body at once. the release of this move can also cause a shock wave. at full power, this move can permanently blind anyone within ten feet and temporarily blind anyone within 100 feet, if their eyes are open. this move also completely depletes his reserves, so he must be exposed to sunlight before he can fight again, and it is very physically draining. he can only use this move at full power once per fight or he risks getting heatstroke and his eyes becoming very light sensitive.

other: haru's body temperature is always much higher than the average person. this increases more when using his powers and also depending on his reserves. he often also emits a soft warmth and glow, but this increases when he uses his powers or is affected by emotions. negative emotions cause a rise in heat while positive emotions cause a rise in light. hyperthermia becomes lethal to him sooner then it would with an average person. aside from his quirk, he has some skill in hand to hand combat. because moonlight has mostly sunlight in it, he has less of a power drain on nights where the moon is big and the sky is clear. this also makes it so he has to cover his window on nights where the moon is full because it can keep him awake.

yeah, sol storm is definitely a last resort move for him since it's pretty dangerous on his body. edited my form slightly to make that a little more obvious.
