too many faces. austin rarely acts like himself - a lanky man with his fair share of muscles,
he enjoys assisting his squad through his faces. if shapeshifters existed, he was the closest
they would get. he could be anything from a prince to a vampire if they needed him to be,
he enjoyed wearing the mask of someone else to escape his own realities. few knew the real
austin. outside, he always had a warm smile, attempting to see his friends through the brighter
side of things.. but he was caving. he just failed to show it. he didn't always like being the
showpiece, the one who pretended to do something while the others always did something.
everyone always reassured him that it was a necessary role, but he doesn't quite believe he's
helping. but for everyone, he'll stay that way.

regardless past. born into a privileged family, austin didn't know the woes of poverty until
his late teen years. his family's estate had burned down in a great fire, taking all their earnings
and assets with it (his family didn't trust the bank).. only leaving ashes. ashes wasn't going to
feed a starving group of three terrified people. that's when he began acting. he had always lived
on the dream that he would take over his father's estate once he came of age, but that dream
was no more. demolished, just like everything he had ever owned. his mother passed shortly after,
from sickness and no funds to pay for treatment. and it wasn't too long until austin's father was
driven to madness over everything that had happened in that period of six months. madness led
to murder, and murder led to jail. it was a simple equation, but one that his father didn't seem to
recognize when he killed the sheriff's assistant. everything seemed to be dividing against the young
cowboy, no odds favoring his poor life. but that's when he was discovered by kat. they took him under
their warm wings, showing him that although his family was led to take to delusion, he didn't have to
be the same. he had a mind that was willing to adapt to changes in his environment, but never in his
heart for some reason. it took him an awfully long period to move through his parents' passing, but
when someone is struggling internally, they seem to faze out on the outside. he found himself.. sliding.
not downhill, but just.. in all the nooks and crannies. just wherever he was needed. he never seemed to
evolve from there, it was what he did best after all. he loves all of the gang with his heart, just as he
seemed to smooth into roles easily, they morphed into something more than just a group of friends.
they were his family, and he would never let them go.

❂ Appearance ❂

A shorter woman at around 5'2", but has curves provided by muscles to prove
that she should never be underestimated. Somehow still seems to have
baby fat sticking to her cheeks, but maybe don't mention it. She's sensitive
about it. If nothing else though, it makes her look that much younger and
trustworthy.

❂ History ❂

If you ask her, she had two options. Get married to a stranger, or run away
and join a band of outlaws.
As a young lady with well-to-do parents, Kat was expected to participate in an
arranged marriage that would sustain her family's fortunes. Except, no on had really
ever thought to ask her what she wanted, which was a mistake. Freedom was
no price to pay for a loveless coupling. So she stole an alpaca and some necessities
and ran.
Coming across a gang of hooligans who seemed to be struggling to feed themselves
and were performing less-than-legal acts to make a name for themselves? It sounded
like the perfect adventure. A few well-cooked meals and she was in. They taught her
how to shoot and how to look out for her new family. And triumph or tragedy, Kat is
not about to allow anyone to take this away.

❂ Personality ❂

A competitive romantic rooted in practicality. Make sense? No? That's fine.
Kat likes to call things as she sees them. A win is a win and a loss is a loss. But that
doesn't mean she won't be one of the first people to sit by you and make you something
warm to eat if you're feeling down or ill.
She'll never admit to you that she loves the idea of true love, but if you tell a romantic
story you'll be sure to have her attention and happy blush.
Playing cards? Deal her in. She has a fierce competitive streak, and only plays to win.
The more you make her mad, the more dangerous she gets. If she isn't talking, maybe
run.

to hide his true intentions, but more often than not he'll budge with the right people coaxing him. it's hard to earn his trust and silas is
incredibly wary with others, occasionally giving them the benefit of the doubt but often times dismissing them in an effort to protect h
imself from others and their, in his belief, potential attempt to use him, but once he sees that it's far from somebody's intentions, after
some time he'll begin to warm up. with those he's closer to, silas is more bubbly and tender, as well as domestic and affectionate; doin
g whatever it takes to ensure their happiness and comfort even if it means putting his aside for the moment, as well as doting on them
when he sees fit and hanging off of their arm. though despite that and how much he tries to surround himself with the people he loves,
he gets lonely at the end of the day and occasionally those feelings tend to linger even if he tries his best to hide it. he's not confronta
