family: her father, David Knežević, who is a painter and carpenter, and her mother, Reann Song; was otherwise known as the hero Nova before she passed away in an act of arson
brief history: Kiko grew up in Serbia (until she was six), initially, before moving to Korea (until she was ten), and then to Washington, D.C. where their family eventually settled (it was just easier for Nova to continue her hero duties, instead of flying back and forth/staying in hotels all of the time).
Kiko's father is doting, kind-hearted, and a jokester. At the same time, he can be quite stoic to strangers, and a little intimidating, quite frankly. Kiko's stare matches her father's intensity, and her love for handmade things comes from her father, certainly. She grew up learning Serbian and English side-by-side, and she knows some Korean from when her mother would try to teach her (and her father, who has broken Korean in his brain bank, as well as from schooling). She also learned how to speak Croatian, Romanian, Bulgarian, which are various other languages spoken in Serbia. She also knows a little bit of Russian from her grandmother, before she passed.
Kiko grew up not really having known her mother, as she was always off doing hero duties. She knew her from what she saw on screens, and through the mouths of others. The few times that she actually got to hang out with her mother, she found that she was a very mature, independent woman, who took no crap from anybody. She found out that she actually got a lot of traits from her, such as her maturity, independence, and gentleness. Like mother like daughter, it was inevitable that Kiko would become a hero, because villains always infuriated her. She despised the way that they went about their activities and she was naturally always attuned for helping the greater good. Perhaps working together with the villains to scout out their parents' killer will give her some clarity if all villains are as horrible as they seem.
personality traits: mature, independent, hard-working, trustworthy, cautious, kind, intelligent, gentle, logical, loyal, stubborn, nimble, a realist, meticulous, detail-oriented, blunt about romance, over-exerts herself at times, observant, eager to learn, hard to convince, modest, confident but also a plackback-er: constantly thinks of ways to be better where it becomes very self-critical.

Kiko has always had a distaste for villains, and
while this has transferred over to the kids of such
villains, it would be in her best interest to work
together with the whole lot of them, considering
they're venturing into the world to figure out who
the killer of their parents' are. however, she'll only
talk to him when she needs to, but she has to admit
that he actually isn't all that bad, and there are worse
people that she could be around.

Adriano Mallory (son of Reaper)

Sepideh Parsi (daughter of Shadow)

✘ she knows more than she lets on
Sepideh's knack of thieving is something that is
slightly unnerving for Kiko; she doesn't know if
Sepideh does it for kicks or what. these two are
capable of getting into debates that are bound to
strike lengthy discussions (mainly heated). they're aware
of each other's existence, but they don't willingly go out
of their way to interact with the other. Kiko is wary
around Sepideh, mainly because she's a kid of a villain,
but she doesn't inherently hate her or anything of that
sort. Kiko's logical nature might clash with Sepideh's
cynical nature, but perhaps overtime they may find
some sort of a middle ground.

Angelina Hill (daughter of Experion)

✘/✧ cyborg teen meets wary lady
Kiko has never encountered a cyborg before, let alone a
half-cyborg. she tries to give Angelina the benefit of the doubt
when she's being all too blunt, but it doesn't really bother her.
she would step in if she's going too far with her words, though.
Kiko is unsure if she can trust her; and she's unsure of what
kinds of powers that she has exactly, what with being half-cyborg.
however, she'd be interested in how that side of her operates;
perhaps if Kiko loosens her wariness concerning Angelina, she'd
ask her questions that she's curious about.
at times, she feels like her bluntness that quickly transforms into
emotional messes is reminiscent of dealing with a child.

Elowen Avyers (daughter of Rabbit)

☼웃 like sisters; dubs her as "Ely"
Elowen is very much like Kiko's surrogate younger
sister. she absolutely adores the girl, and they can
often be seen hanging out and talking about
anything in the world. Elowen is like the light in
Kiko's small world; a source of happiness and positivity
that gives her strength when she needs it the
most. whilst Kiko isn't as extroverted as Ely,
they somehow balance each other out, and
they're fiercely loyal to each other; Kiko looks out
for her best friend when she can. if anyone
can make her laugh/smile, it'd be Ely.
Samuel Collins (son of Zeus)
✧>☼(♡?) arrogant twat mountain meets mountain

their first interactions are bound to leave a
sour taste on Kiko's tongue. his arrogance is
sure to get on her nerves, but for some reason,
she doesn't seem to dislike the guy. is it because
they're technically on the same team? overtime,
their clashing personalities will shift to
something that is filled with care and understanding,
as Kiko comes to get to know the gentler side of
Samuel more. down the road, he may pique a some
sort of interest to her, but for the time being, being
potential friends is more than enough. honestly, it's a
timing thing for these two.
Xiaowen (Owen) (son of Phoenix)

✘✧"don't walk away from me young man!"
Owen's hot-headedness gives Kiko's brain a 360. She
finds it frustrating when he just ups and walks away
from conversations, without saying anything at-all.
Despite them being the same age, she finds his
personality a little childish at some times, but
she tries to find the better part of him that might
peek through some day-- after-all, he's a fellow
hero kid, so they might as well try to get along.
It's not going to be easy, as she finds him tiresome at
times, but the fact that she doesn't straight up give up
on him is something that might instill feelings of
neutrality and potentially respect between the two?
As well as this, there are aspects of Kiko that
reminds him of a motherly figure, which is something
that Kiko wouldn't mind, as that would mean that
she could keep him in check.
Piers Kutina (son of Atom)

☼웃the Frosty to my fries
aw, these two are childhood friends-- under their
mothers' influence (Nova and Atom), they had
playdates and solved crimes together around
the city whenever they were in contact.
Now that they're older, and Piers went off to
study, they've kept in contact with technology,
but it's not the same. They'll reunite in-person over
something very terrible, but they'll fight to bring
justice to their mothers. Many people haven't
gotten to see what Piers is really like, and Kiko
is one of the lucky ones that is really close to him.
Kiko calls Piers "Frosty" because of their shared love
for Wendy's (not a sponsor) (but plz sponsor them).

like a bull in a china shop, piers doesn't care what he has to trample
on to win the day. aloof and rough around the edges, the hero's son
doesn't exactly endear himself to strangers. but beneath his abrasive
manner beats a big sloppy heart. sturdy and loyal, once you earn this
guy's trust and respect, there's nothing he wouldn't do to support you.
piers has an extremely monotone and sarcastic voice that he will gladly
use to slam a snide comment your way. but usually, there's no real
venom in his voice. he'll probably even call his best of friends an idiot
out of 99% love. piers is naturally grumpy, and is even worse when he's
woken up at early hours. a big night owl, and probably forgets to sleep
six out of seven nights. an introvert at heart, and you'd probably have
to drag him out of his study as he attacks you like a rabid cat to make
sure he gets one minute of sunshine or enjoys life outside of his work.

surprisingly enough, his mom atom was around quite a bit during his
childhood. they did the usual parent kid stuff: reading books, watching
movies, solving the millennium prize problems, enjoying quantum
physics, and decorating sugar cookies on holidays. of course, piers
wishes she was around more, but one couldn't complain when their
mother was literally solving crimes around the world without sounding
a bit egocentric. so, piers stayed quiet and instead turned to the
next best thing. his own studies! he focused more on making his
mother proud than being friends with other kids, determined to work
alongside her. ever since she has passed away, piers has become
callous of his work, believing he can never live up to her name.

or had friends growing up. sad as it is to admit, his mother was really the only
person he confided in, and now she's gone. so now, piers doesn't really know

be called a hero if all he does is a lot of research science and make fancy smart
computers. xi. his latest smart computer is called monitoring-self obedient machine.
or, in simple terms. mom. it helps him regulate schedules and get helps complete
mundane tasks he doesn't want to do himself. xii. due to his powers, expect a lot of
migraines and nosebleeds.xiii. can make pancakes, but that's it. his culinary
knowledge is very lacking, unless you can survive solely on pancakes. xiv. doesn't
drink enough water, but more than enough coffee to kill a person or two.

extroverts are usually too extraneous
for piers' liking. luckily, elowen has
managed to stay on his good side for
all of their lives. they're great buds,

piers is his own worst enemy. simply put,
he has unachievable expectations set and
not enough serotonin to attempt them.
maybe with a little tlc from friends and
a long nap he'll learn to take care of himself.

important is that he is also a cat person,
and is more than welcome to catsit piers'
