17 year old, 7th year gryffindor gal, cap'n & keeper of the quidditch team.
muggleborn. an expert in charms (both magical and otherwise tbh) though not afraid
to throw a hex or a punch. hails from belfast, northern ireland. awful proud of her
family despite them being muggles. very open-minded and adaptable, a real team
player as well as a leader, always makes an effort with anybody and everybody
regardless of blood, house, etc. she is approachable and chatty, trustworthy with
any secret great or small. competitive to a fault. here for a good time & hopefully
a long time !! a social butterfly who loves a good party, she has a positive energy
that tends to rub off on people. brave in the sense that she'll speak up or take action
if she sees something as unjust. likes to think she has a level moral compass and
despite being competitive, she'd never stoop - always wants to win, but fair and
square. used to being social and surrounded by people - she has two older bros and
an older sis, struggles to spend time in her own bubble. despite a bright and cheery
exterior, she does feel like she needs to be validated by the people around her.

his name is robert but his parents call him nob to make
fun of him despite being the ones to name him. now m
ost people call him nob because he calls himself nob ou
t of habit. it's not the middle age anymore. sixteen goin
on seventeen. one whole hufflepuff with a side of wolf.
werewolf, that is. of course, he's not out as a werewolf
either, so now it's just a cute little secret while he strug
gles to procure wolfsbane so it doesn't have him maulin
g everyone. except this isn't so easy to do, leaving him t
o work with some... rather unusual means to gain it.

he's not quiet, he's not loud. nob is just existing in his pitiful
little sphere of existenc- nah, not really, but he's definitely -
melodramatic at the very core. friendly and often naive abo
ut certain things, nob makes friends with nearly anyone he c
omes into contact with - even if it's one sided friendships. lit
erally hass no qualms helping anyone who shows up because
he thinks the world should stand to be a light brighter. almo
st always in some chipper mood, save for when bouts of mel
ancholy hit him or a certain time of month comes up or is co
ming up or there's suddenly a moon that shouldn't be there.
nob has a quiet sense of bravery - he isn't one to throw himse
lf into a fight, but is always around to pick up pieces if he's a
ble to. always willing to give things up for other people, does
n't care much for material things whatsoever. has pretty bad l
uck haha, very clumsy? don't let him in potions class jesus chr
ist. will allow people to rob him and not say anything about it.
has the craziest stories about unfortunate things that happen
to him but he??? always laughs about it and actually means it.
as said earlier, he's prone to melancholic periods of time, typi
cally stemming a week every month but occasionally lasting f
or longer periods of time where he can't seem to pick himself
back up off of the floor. fights for the rights of everyone equa
lly and that's about the only time he's actually not joking round

was hella wrecked by the werewolf that turned him when he was fourteen or fifteen, he can't remember. bu
t figuring he's sixteen currently, it wasn't that long ago at all • and this is why they have restricted areas som
etimes • despite werewolves remembering what they did the night they turn, nob fails to remember the first
year save for one night that he would rather not remember • sometimes there's still a metallic taste in his m
outh that doesn't belong • his parents don't know, the teachers shouldn't know for the most part, and he hasn
't told any of the students either • save for one • he always misses one day a month, which varies, but leadin
g up to that one day he's typically very sick and lethargic. snaps easily but apologizes more profusely • the fo
llowing week after that night often plays out like the six days prior to the night, with nob being noticeably m
elancholic and tired and of weak constitution. • this isn't a set schedule. on worse months, it can be back to
back, nearly, and he's been known to show up missing or longer periods of time, returning later on with a rat
her poor disposition. • he attributes the sudden shift in temper to 'the spurs of melancholy everyone is prone
to at some point, but just moreso for me.' • which technically isn't false. • the scarring takes up the right sid
e of his abdomen, where he was initially grabbed (nails raked right across until they dug in) and the junction
between his neck and shoulder where he was bit. • this is why he avoids any clothing pieces that could expos
e either his shoulder or his abdomen except that sucks because they're on opposite sides. right side of his ab
domen and left shoulder. • no one was with him that night. no one was with him that night. tells himself that
constantly. knows that isn't true. but it's true now. • locks himself up and throws the key and waits the long,
torturous night before leaving - this sometimes extends to the next day if he's that tired. is excellent at cages
now, though, on the plus side. • he tried to make his cage comfier but he destroyed everything he tried to ad
d • likes comfy things. his room is full of soft materials and he changed the mattress out for the nicest one he
could afford. • terribly clumsy - always falling on nothing or creating accidents. • terrible at potions and alwa
ys manages to blow things up. always. without fail. • likes care of magical creatures and herbology the best •
likes astronomy as well but he's not very good at it, mainly just likes the stars. • transfiguration scares him op
• stashes cake mix boxes that he makes and eats raw on bad days. • funfetti is the best •

asteria winona lowsley - - cisfem - - eighteen - - seventh year ravenclaw - - prefect
good things come in small packages - her grandmother would always say - such a‚
s diamonds. diamonds were nice. they were pretty and expensive, well-liked, an
d sought after by everyone. asteria understood what her grandmother was trying
to convey to her and she knew that she would try and make her feel proud of he
r size (which, don't get me wrong, she always was), but she much more liked the
versions of that proverb with poison and dynamite. the most potent toxins were
kept in the smallest bottles and even minuscule amounts of trinitrotoluene were
enough to blow up a wall or two. that's how asteria was - unassuming and innoce
nt on the outside, explosive and unpredictable on the inside. at 5'0, barely grazi
ng the elbows of some of her colleagues, with a baby face framed by wavy brow
n hair and adorned by even browner eyes, eria is a professional at blending into
the crowd. she walks and holds herself similarly to how her other housemates d
o; with an air of geekiness and stoicism, and so far, it's been an effective tactic
of avoiding unnecessary interaction with people who judge other students by t
heir appearances rather than their personalities. she seldom speaks in class and
prefers to sit as close to the exit as possible - a tactic devised so she could be t
he quickest to leave one class and enter another, again avoiding small talk and
unnecessary crowds. this doesn't mean she's asocial or mute; rather, eria likes
a push-and-pull at making conversation with her and appreciates people who try
to be friendly and dig further than the neutral looks she throws over the rims of
her spectacles. one could say she has a solid facade one has to break down befo
re getting categorized as her friend. once, however, you get accepted into her c
lose circle of friends, asteria will act vastly different from how she does to othe
rs - to summarise it the best, her brother once said she's more like a bouncy ball
than a human. for a ravenclaw, she's extremely spontaneous and impulsive to the
point where sometimes not even her closest family can differentiate her irration
al impulses from her actual needs. she feels like drinking a whole bottle of wine
at 3 pm? she's gonna go drink wine ar three pm in the astronomy tower. she want
s to go research about obscure currencies of the uzbekistan wizarding world at f
our in the morning? you bet she's going to abuse her power as a prefect to sneak
into the library and study. her wits allow her to find a way to cater to all of her i
mpulses while still keeping up with schoolwork, prefect obligations, and her dail
y physiological needs. her mouth lacks a filter, and she sometimes completely fa
ils to read the situation, which can put her in awkward and uncomfortable situat
ions. in these cases, eria's to-go get out of jail card is to crack a bad pun or say a
random obscure fact that is so specific people tend to turn all their focus on it ra
ther than the awkwardness. she sometimes doesn't even understand herself - but
that's one of the main things eria likes about herself; if she ever were to run out
of things to study, she could always study her own contrary behavior. her intentio
ns are never to hurt or do anything bad to anyone, and her strong belief in karma
prevents her from even thinking or scheming about something of that tone. she h
as no problem helping out other people academically or emotionally, but attempt
s at either one of these usually end up with the same result - with asteria frustrat
ed or indifferent at the things the other person's going through. her aptitude for e
mpathy is low and while she understands logically why someone would be hurting
or feel the way they feel, unless their situations were identical, asteria would not
be able to feel what the other person's feeling even remotely. her definition of ta
king care of people is taking a part of their workload and doing it instead of them
rather than being a shoulder to cry on or giving an ear to listen. nonetheless, aste
ria considers herself a decent person. not bad, not good - just decent with questio
nable impulses.
