DISCUSSION for this roleplay titled 'the seven kingdoms' - a semi lit game of thrones rp.

Hello ! Welcome all <3

Call me baenerys, nerys, bae, whatever suits c: I'll be writing Tiernan Arryn (precious lil bean, too good and too pure to play the game of thrones tbh), Óisín Baratheon (stoopid headstrong boy), Tally Redwyne (will probably swoop in and steal your castles with her ships for fun), and Vaera Lannister (power hungry psycho) - so a bit of a mixed bag, haha, and no doubt I'll probably add others to my cast of characters down the line.

The plot is pretty much entirely fluid. The only thing I have specific in mind is that the Targaryens have been exiled. Whether this is a recent thing or happened generations ago and the Targaryens seek to reclaim the throne now, I don't mind at all ! The info on the front page is pretty much up for debate. If you have a character who belongs, for example, in House Martell, you are welcome to play with the suggested plot of a mother dying and their child looking to start an uprising. But if you have something else in mind, please don't be afraid to work with your ideas ! c:

honestly, i don't really have any plots in mind other than i would love for mariyanna to be betrothed to someone eventually! c:
im thinking vaera would also probably try to find a match for carus that would bring more power to the lannisters/herself lol

I've been a melt at replying to pm's etc so lmao hello, here I am, replying here and hopefully I haven't missed anything --

lmaooooo Vaera for sure is looking for an advantageous match for Carus, but only to somebody she can manipulate or keep a leash on. Carus is her golden boy, he deserves the best ;3; quite frankly nobody in our cast currently fits this description lmao

Did I add my baby Mormont girl to my cast of characters because pearl has graced us with Janas? Yes, yes I have. I'm 1000000% up for a big brother, little sister protection scheme here tbh?

For Mariyanna - I don't know, but it might be interesting if she was betrothed to Óisín further down the line? As he's so bull-headed and passionate with this big voice for the people kind of vibe, and she's very outgoing etc? He might make an equally interesting match for Nesaenys though?

It might be fun is Nesaenys and Tally were like two peas in a pod, as Driftmark and the Arbor hold quite a bit of power with ships between them?

I think that Pluto is intending on keeping the Stark lord death idea in action, so Melleah would be head of the household now: so that might cause unrest in the North, for such a young lady to be in charge of the north, so that might be fun.

As the whole plot is so fluid and I'm pretty much open to working with anything interesting based of the cast of characters we all bring together, it might be an idea for civil unrest in the north to be the first plot point: maybe whoever is currently on the iron throne, sickly and dying, can't/won't do anything to aid Melleah as she transitions to be head of the household, and an uprising in the north would eventually drag all of our characters together, to smooth out this uprising - then the current person on the throne could pass and cause unrest in the other kingdoms? I'm open to anything, really ! c:

i love niamh!! you know janas is gonna be super protective over here cx i also think that it would be cool if he taught her how to use a sword or bow, just something she could use to defend herself

ooo either of those matches could be really interesting. i feel like mariyanna would probably be more likely to try and marry him for power but it could also be interested to match him with nesaenys.

i love the idea of tally and nesaenys being friends! i think they probably would have known each other since childhood because of their parents both having a lot of sea power and meeting often c:

I think all the northern characters are probably on friendly terms? Arwyn has decent swordskill and could help out giving Niamh tips?

A northern uprising sounds good too! I can see them going for independence more than anything else, maybe sick of having to pay taxes etc? Given they’re the poorest of the seven kingdoms as a whole, they could want to keep what wealth they do have to themselves.

I love Arwyn so much and I would 100% love for her and Niamh to be friends. Definitely I could see Niamh admiring her a great deal, and would love to learn more on working with a sword, as her weapon of choice is usually a bow ! you can bet she's gonna want janas and arwyn to get together so she can have a v cool sister-in-law tbh

I'm thinking that Niamh is quite small and can't swing a longsword, which is why she's always been more of an archer - but if she could get her hands on a sword to suit her build, she would love to learn from Janas and Arwyn !

I feel like Óisín has a live fast, die young kind of vibe because he's so stupidly bull-headed, he'll land himself in trouble some day and won't be able to dig himself out of an early grave lmao - I think he'd look to marry somebody that could keep him on his toes. and then there's tiernan who would marry his best friend just so they could spend every day together tbh

I totally think that Tally and Nesaenys being friends would be really fun - and you're right, extending that back into childhood would be lovely. I imagine that they might have a bit of a friendly rivalry ?

oml i could definitely see janas having a crush on arwyn. they would be such a power couple lol (also keriae i love your faceclaim for arwyn, the last kingdom was awesome!!)

so i think that mariyanna and oisin would probably make the best match then cx
do you think that oisin would propose it or do you think princess nariel would arrange it?

friendly rivalries are my favorite! i feel like they should both know how to sail and definitely race each other everything they are able to get together
