PERSONALITY: Scanners are, by nature, highly curious individuals. And even for a scanner, 9S is exceptionally curious. An intelligent and adaptive unit, his performance in the field is impressive, but his recklessness in pursuing answers has also lead him into trouble time and again. Although he's quick to complain and not very modest, 9S is a kind and polite individual. He's caring, selfless, and very devoted to his partner in particular. Scanner units generally work alone, but 9S enjoys companionship and becomes easily attached to others. He, and all androids, are programmed with a protective instinct towards humanity.
Towards his enemies—mainly machine lifeforms, 9S shows a far more callous side. Even when presented plenty of evidence on the contrary, 9S prefers to think of them as mindless, unfeeling automatons. He is quick to deny anything that conflicts too harshly with his beliefs, and tends to have difficulty accepting or dealing with negative emotions.

POWERS/ABILITIES: Although he isn't a combat model, being a YoRHa android, 9S is still much stronger, faster, and more durable than a human.
NEAR FIELD COMBAT SYSTEM - NFCS: Unlike other Scanner models, 9S is able to wield melee weapons: swords, spears, and combat bracers. However, he's only able to wield one weapon at a time as opposed to the two that combat models carry. This technology also allows 9S to control his weapon 'telepathically' and have it disintegrate into light and return to him when thrown.
FAR FIELD COMBAT SYSTEM - FFCS: Controls his pod to deal machine gun fire/lasers/homing missiles.
HACKING: 9S is able to hack and control machines, androids, or anything else of a mechanical nature. He can subjugate enemies, turning them to his side, control them remotely, or force them to self destruct. Hacking is also useful for gathering data, operating or disabling machinery, and software maintenance. In sentient mechanical beings, he may catch a glimpse of the individual's thoughts or memories during the process of hacking them.
SELF DESTRUCT: Self destruction deals immense damage to himself and those around him after a brief countdown, leaving 9S with 1 HP. After doing so, he is be unable to perform most actions for a short period of time. Also destroys his shorts.
WEAPONS:
CRUEL OATH: A black blade used by warriors of the East. Level 4.
ATK Speed Up: Increases attack speed.
Dark Impulse: Increases attack power when HP is 30% or less.

Class: Totem Barbarian/Wilderness Rouge
Styx's totem is that of the Crocodile, and as such she shares
many similarities in fighting styles with the creatures.
Tough scales, a powerful tail, sharp claws, and a jaw
capable of tearing through most armors. She relies on
stealth when stalking enemies, often hiding underwater
or buried in sand until opponents are, quite literally in
some cases, on top of her. Once she strikes, enemies are
grappled in her jaws, vulnerable to vicious claw attacks
and wild death rolls. When her cover is blown, Styx resorts
to primal rage and fierce intimidation, usually by deafening
roars or gory displays of her power. Outside of combat, Styx
is a skilled trap finder and hunter, with the ability to leap
nearly as far as she can sprint, even out of water or sand.

Personality:
Fitting with the barbarian stereotype, Styx can be rather
crude. Rather than differentiating between friend or foe,
her decisions usually lean towards drawing the line between
friend or food. She is proud and ferocious, and certainly
not someone who you'd want to be on their bad side with.
She is tough and hardheaded, facing death with defiance.
Styx comes from a lizardfolk village on the riverbank in
the middle of a desert, where water is plentiful but food
can oftentimes be scarce for such a large race. She enjoys
alchemy and taxidermy, and she's fond of making perfumes
and potions out of different desert flowers, as well as
decorating trophies of defeated enemies that weren't
eaten first.

personality • jade is kind at heart, sharp in mind, and strong in soul. well, maybe she's not that sharp, but she's doing her best to work on it! she cares deeply about those she's close with (maybe a little too much) and won't hesitate to throw herself into perilous situations for the sake of those she loves. jade is also pretty friendly and understanding of people even if she doesn't really know them (which may be a bad thing), but rarely she may notice your vibes are off from the get-go and harbor feelings of ill will toward you (but she won't usually show it unless you return the favor). as the savior of her realm, eorzea, and the "warrior of light", she's grown to embrace her title; however, over the years, it's started to wear down on her in the form of deep insecurities and the fear that she may not be good enough one day. jade has seen many of her comrades fall in battle, and most times she places the fault squarely on her shoulders, which as you can imagine, isn't entirely good for her mental health. she will do whatever it takes to avoid anyone else she cares for dying before her very eyes, even if it means sacrificing herself.

spells • jade is an incredibly skilled white mage, which means she is particularly well-versed in all manners of healing spells and the like. she is also able to resurrect fallen allies, but this takes up a good chunk of her energy (known as "mana"). white mages are also incredibly in-tune with nature, and as such, she is able to cast spells based in earth and wind as well as various light-based spells.

powers + abilities • as the "warrior of light" and (her goddess) hydaelyn's chosen, she has a mysterious power known as "the echo" which allows her to view events that have occurred in the past. however, she is unable to control this power, and it may strike at any given time. this is accompanied with a splitting headache and temporary disability from doing anything outside of clutching her head in pain. in addition to this, as a miqo'te, she has an excellent sense of smell, hearing, and night vision (and a tendency to chase strange beams of light).
weapon • jade's weapon of choice is the rose couverte, an elegantly gilded staff with a large, white crystal attached to the top (as seen in her reference photo). it is usually attached to her back by a small strap and travels with her pretty much everywhere. while it is obviously used to channel jade's magical energy into spells, if need be, it can also be used to hit attackers (seeing as it does have a bit of weight to it). without a staff, jade is unable to cast spells.

History: Beware of Spoilers! There's a lot, honestly but basically he grew up with his brother Stan in Glass Shard Beach, New Jersey. They were best friends but then, after an incident involving a high school project, they got into a fight and drifted apart. He eventually found the town of Gravity Falls and settled there. He built a portal, with the help of his college buddy, that was supposed to answer many questions including why Gravity Falls is so weird. Unbeknownst to him at the time, the portal actually lead to The Nightmare Realm among other dimensions and was a link for Bill Cipher and his crew to enter their world. In other words, he had been betrayed and tricked by Bill Cipher. After shutting the portal down, it was accidentally turned back on and he was accidentally pushed by his brother Stan into the Nightmare Realm and was stuck dimension hopping for 30 years. 30 years after the portal incident, he was brought back to his own dimension by Stan and met Dipper and Mable as well as many of the others in Gravity Falls. A rift was created by the portal being turned back on which he tried to contain it but eventually it was shattered, causing Weirdmaggedon. Weirdmaggedon was eventually stopped but it took a vast effort from himself and a select group of residents in Gravity Falls. The last place he remembers being is on the Stan O' War with his brother Stan.
